Most probably it will be "hot fuzz", just to not be repetitive with the love stuff.

Update of an old sketch: Euoplocephalus tutus. Probably not as inspired as some of my latest work, but I just wanted to get done with this quickly to keep working in another stuff.

I actually really like that eoplocephalus. The colors and the angle of the head are really cool.

And if you ever check out World of Warcraft there are female dwarves there.

Were female pterosaurs smaller than males, or is it unknown?

That´s an interesting question. I guess there should be some kind of size difference so the coupling could be a bit comfortable for both, but I have to look it out.

I´m personally more concerned about the crest (or lack of) in the female; so far we know Pteranodon and Darwinopterus females lacked crests or only had small stumps, but considering the HUGE crest we have on the Thala I considered the females here could be proportionally bigger than average, perhaps for mutual sexual selection.

From what I remember what is believed to have been the female pteranodons were smaller than the males.

No problem then! :)

Another sketch update: a swimming Allo about to get a nasty surprise by the giant teleosaurid Machimosaurus.

Just started painting it, but I´m not convinced with the allo so I´ll probably change the scheme for another more based on red strips or something....

:) The brown fuzz part looks like hair on a mammal. It looks very real. I don't know how you do that.

A few hours of pencil and photoshop mixer brush, its kind of exhausting but I think it worths the time! I´m definitely sticking to this style with fuzzy maniraptorans. 8-)

Glad you like it, those might be my best deinonychosaurs so far...And I´m using the same kind of textures with the loving pterosaurs, I´ll post them soon.

Thanks! I think the one I´m working on right now ( a Epidexipteryx) is looking almost as good, but that´s up to you to decide. I´m happy with the pterosaurs though... :)

This is a WIP of my entry for the Hell Creek Art challenge, the basal ceratopsian Yinlong. So far only the head is almost finished, needs a lot more work and the background...

You've certainly got good at that 'fuzzy' effect!
