Looks great! Are they all in his usual scale, i.e., 1:18?

He'll have more info once the sculpts are complete. Shane's work varies between 1:1 and 1:40 scale, so it can be tricky to estimate, but you're probably close. I believe his 1:1 Velociraptor should be done sometime this year, as well.

Yeah, it seems like no one can quite accept how weird Spinosaurus' jaws were. But he gets closer than a lot of people.

Unassembeled around 200 anywhere from 350 or higher. Assembeled and painted you are looking at 500 or so.

Nice , is that the Spino after he re-worked it ?
He said maybe December for the 1:1 Velociraptor...so maybe I'll look into getting him next year.
Studio OXMOX is also supposed to be finishing a 1/1 Velociraptor , 1/4 Liopluerodon and T-Rex..wish they'd hurry though..lol

Those are going to be enormous! Mind you, I'd be incredibly envious of anyone on here who got their hands on the 1:1 Velociraptor.

Does Foulkes have an official website?
Also, WTH is with the jaws on that Spino. I thought Foulkes was one of the best paleo-sculptors out there. Is he trying to drive us all mad on purpose?

Maybe that's the Spino's jaws before he re-worked it...:?
I'm hoping OXMOX's 1/1Velociraptor is more affordable than the previous Deinonychus models..so maybe I'll have a shot at getting one...

The story I heard about the Spino sculpt was that Shane sculpted it for a customer as a commission and a specification of that commission was to have the Spino looking like the Jurassic Park 3 one.
Apparently the customer pulled out of the deal and left the rights to manufacture and distribute the kit to Shane so that is why he is releasing it now.

He also failed at making it look like the JP3 one, then. If it were the JP3 version, the teeth would be much larger and backwards curving, and the nostrils would be lower down on the snout and it would have two crests.
