If you cant see this image it looks like CollectA Eotyrannus WIP by paleoferroequine when it was cut except the cuts are more jagged.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Hopefully you can replace it.

I've recently acquired a nice bunch of fossils, consisting of various Madagascaran ammonites and an unidentified Moroccan fish.

Ow, that's just painful to look at... here is the pic that Brachiosaurus tried to post:

There's really nothing that can be done for the poor guy. Thankfully, Ourano seems to be one of the more common and least expensive battats. There are actually 2 on eBay right now, you should consider bidding.

Hate to be a killjoy, but...

Also, I think I should add that mother dogs generally carry their pups by grasping their midsection, shoulders, or head, but they generally stop doing so by the time the pups are old enough to walk around on their own. But even if holding an older puppy by the scruff of the neck is normal behavior, and even if this particular animal is not in any pain or discomfort, it is still dangling several feet in the air above what looks to be a concrete patio! Not exactly safe. :\

Off topic: disgusting behavior! Hope they punish this idiot accordingly. And I also hope people here will think twice about posting such sensitive pics along with smiley faces, because this is nothing to smile about. >:(

Then don't post such abhorrent pics! ::)

Pain or not, the animal is definitely in discomfort, and people who would even contemplate doing this to baby animals shouldn't own any animals at all. >:(

I was going to use the Ouranosaurus for a diorama, thankfully I have another battat ouranosaurus, maybe I could convert it into a kill for my carnegie spinosaurus or deltadromeus

Just got the 2012 Safaris: Cerato, Acro, Vaga, and Draco! ;D

They are all fantastic, but my favorite is the Cerato, which is surprising because that was my least favorite based on the photos! I'm also very impressed that they got Dracorex's physical features right, like the thick tail base and very wide stomach.

I can't agree more. I must say that I'm really disappointed that this picture hasn't been deleted by the staff yet.

So that's where the photo came from, eh? I googled for a funny puppy photo and it came up.

Well, I've read the link provided above and it rather seems like a tempest in a teapot.

This kid took a funny photo of his beloved puppy as a gag. Does the puppy look in pain? No, because if you think about it, how do mother dogs carry their puppies? By the skin of the neck.

He was not torturing the puppy, and the puppy was not hurt. I think that the people who are yelling for this kid's head need to get a life.

And I really think we need to keep these completely off-topic discussions off this thread.

That picture is not a gag but pure and simple animal abuse!

If you wanted to keep this thread on topic then you shouldn't have posted that disgusting picture in the first place.

Again I couldn't agree more.

Regarding the puppy picture:

I don't condone what the kid did - if it was my son I'd have a little talk with him.

I do think that the over-reaction to this is a bit much. Internet hysteria.

That's my last take on this.

So if you don't condone what the kid did why post the picture in the first place and why is it yet to be removed?

Sorry, but there's no such thing as "overreacting" when it comes to animal abuse in my book.

Memo to those interested: I removed the posts relating to the puppy because I really don't see the need to have this silliness wind up causing bad feelings around here.
