Great job. Now, aren't you glad you decided to "blemish" it? Ya, that diplo is a thing of beauty, aint it? It more than holds its own with the carnegie one. So, will you be trying to do more?

It's just a really cool figure, and such a unique sauropod to boot. Maybe someday I'll hunt down that Mamenchisaurus they made as well--but the postage makes me scared!

Yes, his paint is better, and, comparing the two sculpts, invicta truly does hold up well, dragging tail and all. It is just so stately...
Ajax, I may---may--end up with an extra diplo. If so, I will figure it out, and get it to you. You really should get some if the opportunity arises.

Hey, thanks guys!
But, I still love my Carnegie! I guess if their artists would be able to take the time I took, their minute details would be a little more fine-tuned. But, since they're mass-produced, that would be next to imossible, right?!
I still like their's is much better. I think somehow it looks more natural. Mine came out looking maybe a bit too artsy, lol! But, like Boki said, I think they make a handsome couple!
And Kevin, will I be doing any more now? Well, if I can get my hands on some other Invictas for a nice price, especially the other two large sauropods, then maybe. I just don't know how you pump out soooooo many, and all looking so good! I procrastinated so long on just this one. And then, I couldn't stop touching up colors! I'm still not satisfied. Also, getting those tiny eyes just right, is a real "female dog", LOL! I totally respect, even more now, you and all the rest of you painters out there!

Eyes = pain in butt combined with toothpick tips only.....
Hey Meso, remember to that you were trying to match a very specific look and scheme, that slows you down as you have to check references. On the non-specified schemes, once I get the main colors in, I just sorta sit and dabble with 'em when i watch tv, no reference checking. Plus, I do not work or anything, so I have plenty of time in a day.
