Good selection! I like the bottom one too, but the text is a little bleached out. If that can be fixed I'll use it with immediate effect :) Then maybe we an have one with new figures in the new year.

I Fixed the title in this one.

I tried to replace the Lambeo with the Troodon, but the result wasn't very good. The base on it and the pose of it in the photo I have doesn't help much either. And when you make it small enough to fit in the banner, the details almost disappear.

I like the last one,too.
Could be a bit heavy on mammals, yes? ;D I know it's supposed to be all stars, but maybe a pterosaur instead of the rhino?
Just a suggestions, looking good. ;)

Actually, that would be good, how about the Papo? I'll use the banner as is for now anyway :)

Love the new banner guys...except that I don't have any of the toys in it. :) Looks great. Only two dinosaurs though?

My thoughts exactly..it is the " DINOSAUR " Toy Forum after all...some of us love other prehistorics as well ( I don't see any amphibians , fish or pterosaurs up there ! lol ) but it's the Dinos that are the draw I think.

..and there are no theropods ! ;)

I also liked the versions with plants in them gave more a feeling of " play " which works with toys and the colors were nice as well something this one is missing..it feels too bland color-wise.

I want people to see the Papo Tylosaurus each and every time they log in to DTF ;D ;)

What about a diorama shot ? With the models photoshopped in ? Something with more color and punch.

I like the new banner. It´s not that colourful, but quite mature and factual instead.
Yes, there are only two dinosaurs in a dinosaur toy forum banner. I´d thus propose to call the undertitle "Prehistoric collectibles and palaeontology talk".

But the collectibles aren't prehistoric. Prehistoric collectibles makes me think of stone hand-axes. ;D

Do you prefer the term Phanerozoic to Prehistoric? What about the Ediacaran creatures?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. To clarify, I mean the actual collectibles themselves are not prehistoric. Stone axes are prehistoric, as are dinosaur bones. And you could collect them. But dinosaur toys aren't prehistoric.

Thanks for the clarification. I misinterpreted your intent. It did get me thinking about a more inclusive way of expressing the term "Dinosaur collectibles." How do you feel about Paleo-collectibles? Do stone axes still come to mind? :)
