lol... way to start her collecting young !
Maybe if we're lucky Legendary Pictures will bring Delgado back in to do some more concepts for the new Godzilla film.

My daughter has a plush godzilla that she adores as well!
I don't necessarily collect them, but a family friend, who is a big Kaiju fan, has come across them at various times in stores, so my kids have small collections.
The best one is the Gamera my daughter got for Christmas when she was two--her response upon opening the gift was "My Toto!"

Can kids be any more cute ? lol
Godzilla is great, I liked Dragons and Dinosaurs when I was little..he was the perfect bridge for the two...and you can role-play the heck out of him in a pool, in a car, in your backyard..ANYWHERE... the big guy is so versatile !
Wonder when we'll get a Gamera VS Godzilla ? It has to happen sometime.

To blade of the moon
d**n I wish I could of collected Godzilla figures when I was younger and then I could of gotten them at a cheaper price especially on the older Bandai. Where did you buy your meltdown from?
I agree the X plus and Bandai museum figures are quite pricy! My xplus Guilala cost me $250! have you seen the Xplus Gappa?
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10089162
Is that comic recent? d**n I've been missing out.

I think issue 1 is coming out this month / March.
http://godzilla.wikia.com/wiki/Godzilla:_Monster_World_%28comic_series%29
I bought my stuff from...darn I can't think of the name..they used to advertise in G-Fan all the time...with big ads.
Looks like some new really articulated Godzilla figures are coming :
http://www.itsalltrue.net/?p=11637
The size is a bit small for me though.

I had a nice wind-up Godzilla model, but unfortunately my youngest daughter, when a toddler, got hold of it and ripped its leg off. Kind of ironic really...

No such luck I'm afraid. You rarely see any of them with perfect wings..if you do they are commanding high prices.

It's a Concorde Super Scale Bio-Goji 1994 ..from what I can find out about him. I picked him up on eBay years ago and the seller didn't know anything.

I saw a super articulated Angilas by I think Revoltech...nice but WAY too small for my tastes.

Aww, MG2 is coming super articulated, but not MG3? I had a bunch of the Bandai 6" stuff from the late 90's through Final Wars, but actually ended up selling them to help pay for a honeymoon to Universal Studios Orlando last year. Still kept some of the nicer pieces, and my Mecha-Godzilla 3 stuff (my favoritie of the Toho daikaiju). I'll have to take some pics and share.

Feel free to ! I have actually packed up most of the toys I have as well..I just wasn't adding anything new to the collection and needed room...but like you did I kept most of my better pieces on display in my movie room.
MG3 will probably come later if these do well..Kiryu was the best MechaGodzilla design so I'm sure it will show up eventually.
I expect a resurgence in popularity soon..we have the comic series, more collectibles being made and the big boom will prob occur right after Legendary releases the new G-film.
