Some of Papo's 2011 releases, non-prehistoric:
Mandrill Young Lion (Several forms) Yak Marmot Bactrian Camel Llama Asian Elephant Black Jaguar Raccoon Camois Platypus Pelican Hammerhead Shark
And many others, including the usual smattering of horses and fantasy figures. Some kind of war dragon. Photos will start popping up in the next few weeks, I'd guess.

I like the sound of all of those! If their quality is equal to, say, their big cats and Nile crocodile, I'd happily snap them all up. Papo's horses are usually altogether easy to ignore by comparison, I'm afraid to say...

Are they really? Well, there is the possibility they've been better to their horses this year. Some of the horse collectors I've spoken with actually say that Safari's Blue Ribbon line has the best horses these days.

If they are, then I am very glad to hear it. Blue Ribbon horses have certainly been superior to Papo hitherto, as far as I have seen. Though the best model horses are by Breyer, of course. But even they have been up to one or two... questionable things of late.

Ahh, a Platypus! And the Yak will surely be another great hoofed Papo animal. The black Jaguar will probably be the same sculpt as the conventional one - just as with the Leopard.

They look wonderful! I'm longing to see the yak and the Bactrian camel... You can see them on the same page now. Just click the links on the left (Papo Neuheiten 2. Quartal & 3. Quartal) .

Ah, yes, I do indeed know MPV -- thank you though. There don't seem to be any new sculptures from Breyer this year (just models with new paint using existing moulds), which is fair enough; with perhaps one exception which was previously released in porcelain. Not that anybody else cares, sorry. Just rambled on, thinking 'aloud'... ;D

Papo Ankylosaurus??? Is this an unknown 2011 or are my eyes broken?

The Ankylosaurus is mentioned in the 2011 figures thread, along with Papo's other offerings.
