Here they are, all 15 of them! ;D Well, not the marine reptile unfortunately The "deluxe" figures: The viloceraptor. Really nicely done figure, IMHO, and I don't even like raptors The figure is super huge! Trike... with super big beak! ;D The new Brachi-O look Kentrosaurus ( with its Safari friend/mate) Tiny Herrerasaurus Lufengosaurus and Camptosaurus Minmi and Edmontonia Rugops and Majungatholus Oviraptor ( with Kaiyodo)Too bad the paint job is sloppy on this one, but I like it. An the others So there you have it, the CollectA 2010 figures! Sorry, don't have the time to do a better review of the set. But over all, improvements can be noticed on most of the figures. There are still hits ( Afrovenator, Jobari, velociraptor, etc.) and misses ( forget the Eotyrannus!) as expected. But I would say that they are improving. Now that they are on their 4th year of existence, I hope that by next year they truly would release awesome figures! ;D

Wow the kentro looks much better then the stock photo! I will defiantly pick up the Jobaria but the Brachio while wonderfully detailed looks to well 80's in style for me. The raptor's feet toe's look a little short any one?? Colecta is relay putting out some nice stuff thou

Woah i didn't know how small the oviraptor and herrerasaurus are! I think I really want to get them now since they are closer to the scale that i like.

I quite like the Rugops and Majungatholus.
What's the big sauropod and the dino to the left of the Tsintaosaurus in the last photo?

The Velociraptor is pretty good, especially as it's feathered. But hand-leaning theropods...WHY? Somehow it's worse than just having the hands pronated. The Jobaria is much better than the Brachio, which looks very retro. Oddly so, given the presence of feathered maniraptorans in this bunch. Usual mixed bag from Collecta. One last thing... "I'M MELTING!"

What's the big sauropod and the dino to the left of the Tsintaosaurus in the last photo? The big sauropod is the Jobaria, and the dino left of the Tsintaosaurus is the Afrovenator.

Look at the Triceratops' scruffy neck. Makes me think it should be wearing a collar.

ugh I was looking forward to the lufengo b/c there's a severe lack of prosauropod figs but what an ugly head! Same with herrerasaurus!
That brachiosaurus, I dont even know what they were thinking!

the jobaria is ok but all the others are poorly sculpted. This is one line i do not like sorry. I like vintage looking dinosaurs but these are hideous. the biggest mistake was purchasing the first set of these dinos. the only decent figure they have came out with was the olorotitan.

I admit I don't own many Procon pieces...maybe 4 right now ? ..and the deluxe Velociraptor will prob my only 2010 one..unless they get the Rhomaleosaurus out this year...then I'll prob snag that one as well.

Oooh, definitely need the Velociraptor! Is he even bigger than the Bullyland? Like the Herrera too, and I've already caved and bought the Afrovenator and Eotyrannus (so ugly he's cute... and currently getting a slightly more interesting paintjob). Looks like they're still doing big awkward feet, though?

Hard to tell since Idon't have one yet..but judging from the pics I would guess about the same size..maybe a little longer ?
Procon is still pick and choose I think...a few gems in all the rough. Not once have I have wanted every piece they make like say with the Carnegie collection for example.

ok on a positive note I think I actually prefer their kentro to the safari one. And at least they try to make non tripod stance theropods... Id get the oviraptor if they hadnt messed up the hands/arms.

I can't believe the very tip of a tail touching matters so much.
Procons theropods have feet that too large or they don't stand up well at all...not bashing just pointing out the piece have their flaws. If rest a Carnegie theropod against something it will stand up without the tail balance same as a Procon.

Heh, the 'velociraptor' reminds me of the pair of live chickens* (or "domestic feathered avialan maniraptoran theropods" for the cladistically correct ;D ) they bought at the market last weekend, which have been duly beheaded, defeathered, and served as adobo stew ;D *chicken sensu Johnson 1750, not sensu Bakker/Paul/Xu/Padian/Norell 2000

And Im not very pickey about foot size. Id prefer thicker feet if it helps it stand up right then the flat/skinny Carnegie feet that makes their theropods topple over. But thats just my preference.

The "skinny" feet of the carnegies is actually what is correct The fat and oversized feet weren't what the real things had. Now, there are some tripod stances that are simply unforgivable, like the ssafari suchomimus!
