I won't be revealing any specifics from the catalog without Safari's permission. Bearing in mind this was only a preview and not the entire lineup, I saw one new Toob that would be of interest, as well as four new additions to the Wild Safari Prehistoric and Dinosaur Line. They all look fantastic.

Did the preview catalog have pictures of the new figures, or just a list? If there's a picture of the Brachiosaurus, can we see that, since it was already revealed? You forgot Papo on the list.

Thanks, I've also added Dinostoreus, with the hope their new releases will finally see the light of day.
Most were visible in photos - though there were none of the Carnegies, which are kind of a special, higher level affair - and I won't post any photos without permission, anyway. The paint apps were great, with just enough color to make them pop without sacrificing naturalism.

That T.rex´s leg on the Triceratops back is very daring, I think. Why must everything look like they were oh so agile? Leave that agile combat thing to Protoceratops and Velociraptor.

Hope those paint apps carry over to the production pieces.. ;D
That Kinto/Favorite piece just looks awkward in my opinion..ole' Rexy looks about to topple... lol
What are the new Dinostoreus pieces ?

Dinostoreus is still working on that 1:4 Triceratops skull. There was a post a while ago about their planned releases, but it's slipped my mind. Pretty sure there was some kind of marine reptile planned. At this rate, we might see Sideshow's marine reptile first.

and you forgot MOJO to the list

Moderator EDIT--no wish lists. We have enough of those around here already. This is a thread for actually-being-released 2012 figures only.

Dan, any idea when Safari will officially reveal their upcoming goodies? I understand you can't reveal stuff (sadly), but I trust you when you say we're in for a good year.

I give you permission to post the photos. You heard the man, post away ;D If he did (he won't) we'd just delete them anyway (until we definitely had permission). If it helps--I doubt anyone will guess half of them, and will be pleased by the others. I only know names though, haven't seen pictures.

I give you permission to post the photos. LoL. Had you changed your name to Ramona Pariente, that just might have worked. Remember guys, that Safari does take a lot of requests from the consumers, and when they find a certain species is in high demand, they definitely base their decision on that. There are definitely species here that I've seen DTFers asking for, and they've been very well crafted. One of them stands almost no chance of being guessed, though. No figure of the species has been produced yet, to my knowledge.
