I started creating this dinosaur model database 2 months ago. My goal is to compile a comprehensive list of all major dinosaur toys/models. Currently I am adding about 20-30 entries every week. As you can see it's still in progress and very incomplete. I just want to share it with everyone here right now. I hope this will eventually become a simple and helpful reference for dinosaur model collectors. Any feedback, correction and suggestions are welcome. Thank you. dmf.kinolulu.com/db/Progress of the database (as of March 13, 2012)DoneBattat Bullyland CollectA Invicta Jurassic Park Mojo Papo Safari Schleich Toyway X-plus WorkingKaiyodo Any suggestion?

hi,
i noticed that when you listed the 1998 battat tyrannosaurus, the figure on the photo isn't actually a battat. it is a carnegie tyrannosaurus that i repainted like battat rex for a customer.

I'm trying to put together a similar resource on the Dinosaur Toy Blog. As you know, these things take up so much time! I personally decided to subdivide the figures by company and order the figures by their genus name. But there are so many ways to organise it. By the way, I happened to notice that you accidentally figured the Larami Plesiosaur for the Invicta plesiosaur, they do look similar.

A bold quest, which many have dreamed of but few have dared to undertake it. I salute you and I hope it pays off.

I will never notice it's actually another Plesiosaur if you did not point that out.

They should have at least given you credit. That's tacky. Maybe I didn't make it clear. Since there is no way for me to own all the dinosaur models, it is inevitable that I have to use some pictures from others. As I wrote at the bottom of the page, "All pictures are copyright to their respective owners. If you feel a picture infringes on your copyright please contact me, and the picture will be removed immediately." In the meantime, I also keep a list of references in the "About" page. If you feel a picture should belong to you or others but I failed to document, please just let me know. I will either remove the picture, or use the picture and mention the source in the "About" page. Hope this clarifies.

Brilliant web-site, I'm in awe of your energy in putting this together.
It also very useful that you've given the models' dimensions, I've book-marked the site as a reference resource!
Let me know if you need any help when you come to the Inpros!

Guys, I really thank you for all your support.
I am currently working on dinosaurs from Bullyland Museum Line. Personally I found it very difficult to find the release year of the following figures. I would appreciate if anyone can provide some information. Thank you guys in advance.
Elasmosaurus Ichthyosaurus (green and blue) Ichthyosaurus (grey) Iguanodon (old one, not the new yellow and red one) Mastodonsaurus Plateosaurus (standing) Pteranodon Sternbergi (standing) Pteranodon Sternbergi (flying) Stegosaurus (old version) Styracosaurus Tyrannosaurus (new version) Triceratops (grey) Triceratops (red and yellow)
Done!
