Nice review, himmapaan ! ..... thought I'd post a pic of the other Oviraptor colour scheme for those who might be interested.

Awesome review. I will comment on it when I'm on my PC tomorrow. Gorgeous figure too.

Merci. ;D Thank you for the picture, Postsaurischian. The back looks less osprey-like than I thought. I only saw a picture of it form the front before. And look, its teeth are painted in this version!

Yes, great review, Himmapaan! Actually I thought the version Postsaurischian posted (that's also the one I have) would be a little more common - isn't the one in the review the 2nd paint scheme and rarer than the 1st?

Thank you so much! I think you are right that it's the second version. Though I somehow got the impression that the first (the white and brown one) was scarcer because it seems to command higher prices from what I've been able to find out -- but I could easily be mistaken.

Who is this "Brandon" fellow, a forum lurker? Maybe it's a secret.

Perhaps a blog reader but not a forum member?

I seem to remember him being around here. He used an alias obviously...

I have a question: What does it take to have a reviewer's account on the blog?

There is no hard and fast rule. The three main factors are: 1. Number of previously submitted reviews 2. Quality of those contributions (the less editing I have to do the better) 3. Potential for future reviews.
It's a subjective decision I make on a case by case basis.
