Martin's work looks great on my base, though I'm still smarting at the rough treatment it got from the Post office, LOL!

Beautiful work there by Martin..not exceptionally bright colors, but definitely realistic looking.

:o :o :o

*Envy*

I would so love to paint the Lambeo on the left (I recognise it but I forget the studio/artist) or one of Angie's. My real concern is that I'm going to have to do it in between whiles at the moment and am likely to take forever. :(

How's about I send you one of Angie's Lambeos? Take your time, target date 2013? Martin obviously has been doing a lot for me, but I'd love a piece from you. :D
We'll work out the details later.

Radman, do you have a closeup photo of the Krentz 1/72 Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus?
I am going to order those 2 and was wondering how well they look together.
From the photo above, the Giganotosaurus looks kind of tiny compared to Rex.

Whoever owns the omeisaurus in the middle of the picture could just sell it to me and then you wouldn't have to worry about painting it. I would love to add that piece to my collection.

Ha! Yes, that's a very special piece, by Max Salas, VHTF and I think the original molds are lost. I'll probably have to do that one myself!
;)

BTW, let's see that collection!

Unfortunately I already carefully packed everything away again (I only keep my finished pieces out for display), and I don't care to venture into the icy garage at the moment. However, I will tell you that the 1:72 shapeways Giga and Tyranno are very similar in size - the giga is a little bit longer, mostly tail, and slightly more low slung, while the rex is considerably bulkier and may have weighed more (?).
Anyway, looking back at this page:

http://dinotoyforum.proboards.com/index.....ad=3701&page=25

I see I may have at least partly inspired DK to actually make this current rex!
Thank you very much, you're welcome! ;) 8-)

Thank you Radman for the info.
Now I know I to expect.

DK's dinosaurs are really hard to pass up for...

My collection is pretty extensive, but for the most part, it is sitting just like the models in your picture above (unpainted). One of these days, when I get time, I will start posting pictures. In the meantime, if anyone ever knows of any of Max Salas' pieces that are available, please email me at dvcrider@aol.com. I was lucky enough to pick up an unassembled
Salas Argentinosaurus off of ebay about a week ago. I had to pay an arm and a leg for it, but I am happy with it.

You won't regret asking Niroot to paint a piece! Even if it takes a while it'll be worth it.

If I could work faster, I'd be earning a little extra doing these dinos too. Bother. As it is, if I paint a model, I'm obliged to ask for time as part payment more than anything else.

I'd think many of us here would be happy to pay for you to paint up something for us Niroot..the fact you have charge anything is par for the course. ;)

Pictures don't really do this justice, but it's the best I can do. Here is Galileo's cool 1:40 Giganotosaurus, wonderfully painted for me by Steve DeMarco:
