Another awesome sculpt :) I love the little dorsal ridge, gives it a lot of character.

I love bumps, spines and ridges for that very reason. It's one of the few things that you can play with or tweak on a dinosaur and still be accurate.

While I've never really liked the extreme fringes and spines folks like Todd Marshall are so keen on drawing (for no other reason than that I think they are ugly), more subtle adornments can be really nice-looking, as seen here.
Of course, even the most absurd spikes are better than ...dromaeosaurs with wattles. *Shudder* Sometimes tweaking with unknown soft-tissue anatomy has truly nightmarish results.

If its tail touches the ground, I probably won't buy it. If its hands are facing the wrong way, I probably won't buy it. If it ought to have feathers and doesn't, I probably won't buy it. If it has vaned feathers attaching at its wrists, I probably won't buy it.

Unless it looks just like a Jurassic Park dinosaur :)

What would an alien culture surmise about humans if they only studied ten skeletons of humans?

They do seem to fit and even flow a bit better now. :)

That's true..though some of us probably will play with them about as much as we do our " toys " lol

The quality of what Malcolm is doing now certainly looks better than battat and and very close to Safari / Carnegie.

But if he was making toys, this cerato would still be better than safaris.
