...Just for fun, obviously,so there's no need to get offended if this lil' song o' mine makes fun of certain theories and such... ;D

Anyway, here it is,that's something that popped out from my mind today...Ya know,i was kinda bored:

"CRAZY" (based on "The Trial" by Pink Floyd)

Good morning Horner,your honour
you will plainly show
the Tyrannosaurus Rex standing before us
was just a mere scavenger,patethic
and the top predator was instead, ehm, whatever!
It's surely this way
CALL THE PHILOGENETIST
my analisis has showed that without a doubt he's slow
and couldn't use his arms to grab a prey of any sort
but then it comes the marvellous result
the computer showed to me
ah,the perfect god-like all-right machine
displayed the result from the data i put in it
his ancestors were lil' fluffy critters
so what you're waiting for to put a mane on him?

Crazy, bones in the attic, they are crazy
truly gone fishing
paleontology has become a freak show
crazy, common sense is missed,we are crazy

How outdated scales are
feathers are the new fashion and they'll last
just see how cool they are,oh dear
put'em on every little and great dinosaur
even Brachiosaurs would look more sexy with these
and even if Raptors now look like turkeys
who cares? This is the newest trend so jump on there
Eeeeeeeeeeehyy!!!!!
thanks to these dubious fossils
forged in a faraway land
now we all agree that scales suck, long live the fuzz
4 wings and you'll rock the world

Crazy,over the KT-boundary,they are crazy
machines and forgeries
they really thrown common sense all away
crazy, only for glory we are crazy

The evidence before the court is
incontrovertable
There's no need to question it!
So now we know that Sauropods
could never ever lift their necks
and even Triceratops & co were probably good swimmers
and probably they eat a steak a day!
The way Quetzalcoatlus lived
without using his gigantic wings
fills me with the urge to defecate!
Since,my friend, you revealed in a so exquisite manner
all you want is to turn kings into chickens
so i say:
tear down the logic!
Tear down the logic!!
Tear down the logic!!!

Now this science is just another freak show!

...So,what do ya think? ;D

Oh,and if you want to write a song too, about whatever it comes to your mind (obviously dinosaur-related) feel free to post it on this topic ;)

You better not let S.Bell see that. When he gets done moving he will give you a lecture on the nature of science.

It's not even worth it anymore. Wallow (flounder?) in your nescience.

I'm still reeling over grammar and spelling...

Well I'm working on a rebuttal - a pro-science, pro-evidence, pro-open-mindedness, pro-skeptic, pro-reason, pro-test. ;)

To Bohemian Rhapsody if you must know. I might even record it and post it on youtube ;D

I recommend reading this while listening to Bohemian Rhapsody http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irp8CNj9qBI

Ignoring the real life-
Stickling to fantasy -
Exposed in a landslide -
Are the facts of reality -
Open your eyes -
Look up to the skies and see -
It’s just a raptor, flying and chirping free -
Because its climbing trees, there it goes -
A little high, little low, -
Whatever the facts show, completely matters to me,
To me

Raptor,just a bird with hands,
There are teeth inside its head,
Lots of feathers, now he’s dead,
Evolution of birds had just begun,
But you’d like to throw these theories all away-
Raptor, ooo,
Didn’t mean to make you try-
To cling to old beliefs you have tomorrow-
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters-

There are, some fakes it’s true,
We can spot them every time,
‘Archaeoraptor’ comes to mind,
Goodbye scaley raptors –you’ve got to go-
You should leave old views behind and face the truth-
Raptor ooo- (every lagerstatte shows)
You want to live a lie,
You sometimes wish the fossils weren’t found at all-

I see a little silhouetto of some fuzz,
Challenging the status qoe, still you close your mind though
Evidence is mounting –always its enlightening me-
Lagerstatte,lagerstatte,
Lagerstatte, lagerstatte
Lagerstatte they all show-maybe your slow-
“He’s just a poor boy sitting in a factory-
He’s just a poor boy sculpting up a forgery”
No evidence backing up this theory -
Here they come, papers new - will you let me show-
Denial! “No - this just cannot be true,”-but it shows!
Denial! “No – this just cannot be true”- but it shows!
Denial! “No – this just cannot be true” - but it shows
“Just cannot be true”-let me show
“Just cannot be true”- let me show
“No,no,no,no,no,no,no-“
Oh! They are here, they are here, they are here, let me show-
Phylogeny, completely agrees with me, with me, with me, with me-

So you think you can ‘ad hom’ and just slip on by-
So you think moving goalposts makes it alright-
Oh maybe, perhaps your mind is just lazy
Just gotta get out-just gotta get right outta here-

Science really matters,
Anyone can see,
Fossils really matter; evidence really matters to me…

Sickle claws on big toes...

;D

Oh no--somebody is going to get served.

Please don't turn this into a dance off--we cannot risk our own electric boogaloo.

what the hell is a dance off? I think I know, we take it in turns to out-dance the previous one?
well i'm not a great dancer - I think I'd prefer to stick to words. maybe we can re-brand an argument, a word-off?
;D
