 plesiosaur toys gallery
« Thread Started on Feb 9, 2010, 1:54pm »

I'm in the process of updating my plesiosaur toys webpage to be more user friendly. I'm creating a web gallery which will hopefully avoid me having to do all photo-cropping and html manually.

http://www.plesiosauria.com/toys.html

If anybody can identify any of the unidentified figures I'd be very pleased.

The pink unknown one is a Panosh.

The brownish unknown one looks a lot like the small Bullyland one--look underneath, it should say. If that isn't it, do you want one? PM me.

The grey unknown one looks to be a Jaru rip off. Might even be the real thing.

The eye-searingly bright pink one.

The other pinkish one is a usual cheap-store one--I think I have that one too!

That's the Play Visions marine reptiles set--very desirable, and fairly hard to find (not as hard as their prehistoric amphibians).

There are people on the forum that have some of the doubles though--and you can take heart, Safari has a toob of marine reptiles coming out that will include many of the same animals (and they look better). That should be in March or April.

The hollow unkown plesiosaurus from your pic, libra, is oriental trading company.

And the Carnegie Mosasaurus isn't a plesiosaur :P It's basically a varanid lizard.

Bullyland's is very serpentine in the horizontal plane; Schleich's isn't too bad.

The Kinto favourite Plesiosaur is another one that is quite straight (the head is turned to the side but that's it).
