 2013 suspicions
« Thread Started on Mar 13, 2012, 12:23am »

Sure its not exactly 2013 yet and we haven't even gotten all our 2012 figures. But oh well. :) What do ya'll expect next year?

Here are my two suspicion list:

Carnegie:
Tyrannosaurus (new sculpt)
Stegosaurus (new sculpt)
Triceratops (new sculpt)
Pteranodon (new sculpt)
Parasaurolophus (hopeful)
Maiasaura (hopeful)
Apatosaurus (hopeful)

Papo:
Dilophosaurus
Carnotaurus

Most of the carnegies you listed are pretty accurate in sculpt, I would say out of the list only apatosaurus, stegosaurus, and pteranodon would really have a chance of being updated at this point

I expect CollectA to make more Australian dinosaurs:

Leaellynasaura

Muttaburrasaurus

Wintonotitan

And some Australian prehistoric Animals

Woolungasaurus

Diprotodon

Procoptodon

Thylacine

Megalania

Other Megafauna

Sivatherium

Gompotherium

Embolotherium

Anancus

Really? Do you really expect that or is that just what you want...being from Australia and all. :)

A bit early to be discussing this, I agree. Personally I still need to get most of the 2011 release...and 2010.

Unless something substantail changed, they have outright stated they will not make prehistoric mammals.

Early amphibians/reptiles/therappsids would be cool of course--maybe make a good toob or two!

I see a 25th Anniversary T Rex and Triceratops. Parasaurolophus just needs updates in posture and detail along with the Maiasaura.

That is 70 years out of date.

Not that that's a bad thing.

I guess but, stego, apato, pterano should be updated first since they need it the most

Seeing as that's not going to happen anytime soon, I hope you have the (now discontinued) Amebeldon.

Maybe because it's hard to make figures out of fragments of skulls and skeletons? ;D
