I'm definitely gonna do one! The deadline is still June 15th, right? Like I said, I wanna wait till I get some more of my 2009's. They should all be in by the end of April to early May, except for the new Schleich figures, which are due in Sept. Guess I won't be using any of those!

How are we going to be judged? Specifically, things like vegetation, scale, or any other aspects of an "accurate" scene. Just want to have a clear idea before i get cracking.

There are no "judges"-- winners will be decided by poll, from all of the members here at DTF ;D You could make a very bad diorama, accurately speaking, but if it was done well, people would like it and you could win.

My Diorama is done. Now I just need to take some pictures. Are you using all Marx figures, stoneage? ;D J/K! Now, I am really looking forward to see what your diorama would look like. ;D I don't think I have ever seen a picture of your collection, so it would be interesting to see a diorama of yours I hope you are serious and not just joking... like you always do

I'm not going to say what it is though. I did use Marx Dinosaurs for Dioramas back in the 4th and 6th grade. I used paper machet for the terrain and had a cave. I still have to take pictures and figure out how to send it to CT.

Not sure what I'll do that doesn't involve grass. I don't think I'll find conifers in my back yard. If I do one, it will have to have grass as the terrain, or possibly dirt?

Dirt terrain looks great in most dioramas, tyrannax. Small kaiyodos are especially good at taking advantage of small dirt patches. And check out your local cemetary. They always have HUGE piles of dirt/sand around after digging graves, they made great sand dunes/mountains

That may be the way to go. Plus it just recently rained.

Ah, go out and make one quick! Oftentimes, there will be primitive-looking plants growing out of the sand for a few days after it rains And if the sand is wet, you can make burrow-like holes (check out my newest procynosuchus diorama).
