I think the blue plesiosaur matches perfectly the colour scheme of the forum. But there is still a T rex in the main logo.

A Microraptor? Come on One of the fossils was serendipitously found in the black market by the great magician Xu Xing (talk about ethics). Why don't you put Archaeoraptor while you're at it?

Am I missing something? I don't see a Microraptor anywhere in the header or side logo--or is it in the signature lines? I have them turned off to speed up loading. Either way--I don't think he can put Archaeoraptor into the logo, since no one made a toy of it. But wouldn't that be a hoot, to make a composite toy of the Safari Microraptor and a bird figure that looks close enough to Yanornis (I can't quickly find a reconstruction picture, but they must be out there somewhere)?

I think the Safari Microraptor is a great figure As far as feathered dinosaur figures go, it is probably one of the best. And it is representative of one of the most discussed topics on the forum - so it is apt. I considered the Bully Velcociraptor but I don't like it as a sculpt...

Great figure? I'd reserve that for the Carnegie Giganoto or the Safari Dunkie or many others, not that piece of crap. And saying it's the best of the feathered dinos is certainly not saying much since they all suck. Heck, I don't know what was wrong with the Batrachotomus.
*tries to find a way to block it*

I'll change the logo again eventually, I'm thinking every 6 months or so... I'll include the Dunk next time.

Beautiful new logo diotoyforum! But how did you do this? How did you crop the backgrounds so well from the dino toys? Thanks. I used the layers option in photoshop and then merged them to form a jpg.

I still can't see the microraptor... Neither can I, still. EDIT: Now I can, never mind--very cool. I think the exaggerated size of the Microraptor is apt.
