You are going to make people very jealous with your Shonisaurus--but where are the Kronosaurus and Elasmosaurus? Right here: I have the entire Replica Saurus line to date. Weathers been nice this weekend, I should drag them outside for a group photo, I tried one indoors but it was too dark to show the detail.

Tiermann, I always thought that was an official Schleich site because the photography and layout are so nice. Fantastic site!

Thanks for the compliment. You're not the only one who's thought that. I used to have an email link on the homepage but had to take it down. I kept getting mails from businesses wanting to setup a wholesale account and from kids with animal ideas. I forwarded those all on to Schleich, and answered any that were questions about collecting or availability. There is a disclaimer on the bottom of every page stating that it's just a fan site and not associated with Schleich in any way. People tend to not read the small print though

I have a bunch of whale models but I have no clue what company they are from. If I was home I would put a pic up but sadly I'm still at college. They were from the 90s and the whole collection consisted of three boxes each with several different whales in it. The box also came with a cool cardboard backdrop of an underwater landscape. The whales themselves were made of light plastic and the big ones like the blue, fin and sperm whales were hollow. They were all in scale with each other. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
i also have a set of three shark models made of a more typical pvc plastic. It included a white, hammerhead and a tiger. It also included some neat plastic replicas of a tooth from each of these species and a mini plastic replica off a white's jaws.
Both the whales and sharks were pretty authentic.
I still have all of these guys somewhere in my attic I can dig them up and put pics up when I go home in a few weeks.

They made several different types of set, including bulk figures, small box sets, and large box sets. And there were usually two sizes of figure. The best way to tell is look for the Play Visions symbol--a PV in a circle near the animal name.

The PV shark set is great. There is a party store near me that sells them, but they are recasts and not official PV's. There's a great goblin shark in the set.

I went home last weekend and snapped some pics. This is the belly of one of them. Right Whale obviously. This is the shark set I was talking about. Its a different company. Some other random whales. Narwhal, Amazon River Dolphin and a happy cute Sperm Whale.
