Watching an ep right now. The toy looks ok for what it is (the problems are in the tv model), though a touch chunky.

It looks toothless in the last picture, lol.
Why was it fifty dollars, was it large?

Sweet figure (Raptor) Sour figure (50.00 USD). Sometimes the overseas shipping gets you in the end...

Maybe because they are not sold in the U.S. Im not really sure. Things seem to be at higher prices in the UK (Shipping Mostly). The size about 10 inches long by 5 inches tall a medium figure.

Very nice looking toy, looks like it has tons of articulation. I briefly scanned ebay uk and there's a bunch of them for sale. Looks like this is the first dino toy from the series.

Not bad at all. Atleast it have some...feathers?
But lacks the fourth finger in the toes, and teeth seems conical in the last picture. Oh well. Better than what you can expect from this series.

They have many other toys of the critters, but until season three, airing in England and BBCAmerica now, the raptors were the only true dinos that had been seen. He has been joined now by a Giganotosaurus, I believe, only two dinos in three seasons!!

And Dracorex makes three, but I have no idea whether it or the aforementioned Giganotosaurus were ever made as toys or not.

Season 3?
Well, its time to go on-line and see if we can find future episodes. As I believe I said, minimizing the dinosaurs was probably a good idea, lest the show be viewed as ''just another CGI dino"" series ....

If you have BBCAmerica, they are running season three right now, only 2 episodes in. Sci-Fi is starting season 2 right now. I here from Blackdanter that the show has likely been cancelled.
There's a dracorex in season 3?? Coooool.
