Uh, no. Not really. ANd, no offense, but could care less. If you commissioned it, for you, nice. But, at those prices, I won't ever get it, and giant theropods do not really interest me too much, so, no pins and needles. A yawn or two for yet more guessing games, perhaps...... ;D

Sorry, that sounds a little snitzy. I just....am not inteested by the whole guess what it is phenonemon we have going on here lately. Hey, I know what figs are for 2011, but I can't tell ya...that sort of thing. I think it's great that you will finally get a piece that excites you, whatever it is. But, to drag this out for months seems silly. Especially given that candidates seem more or less limited, at that size. Granted, you never SAID it was a theropod, but I don't see any herbivore ans "nasty and Gnarly", so there are not too many species it could be. It might be a little more fun with a smaller animal, as some more interesting names might be called out. But, concensus seems to be spino or giga. 0-

Yeah, the "I know what it is but you don't" game gets old...fast. Not that I particularly want to know Safari 2011, mind you.

He said "has been made into a toy a lot recently" so it would be spino. 2007: papo spino, procon spino, 2008: schleich spino and deluxe procon, 2009: carnegie spinosaurus. Giganotosaurus has only been made into a toy once so far. You forgot the one from the "Carnage" line, and the one coming up from Schleich. P.S. I did not notice the 50 foot in length description in the initial post, but still would not be surprised if it was NOT Spinosaurus.

Not really. Not released means its made, but not available. Not made would imply drawing board only, and not in physical form.

Darn us and out petty arguments ;D
Let's see... This spino is gonna have sausage legs, huge backwards curving teeth, and two crests; maybe three.....

Guess it's a Spino...based on his sig. If it's based on Marshall's art then it might be pretty sweet..I'm hoping McVey puts a bit of that into his sculpt for Sideshow.

I get them now and then, but rarely buy them. I...don't see signatures, I have the settings blocking them, and the icons...pages are easier to load and read that way. Sorry.

So,who is the sculptor of this Spinosaurus going to be? Can't reveal that yet - but he's not a regular contributor on this Board, how about that? (If you know much about paleo-sculptors, my description at the beginning of the thread can be applied to only ONE person! )

Its a spinosaurus for his sig. Just to clarify. It looks good too. I'll be interested in seeing the piece itself.

Nope. It's an old school Spinosaurus. When it was thought to be related to Allosaurus, etc. And if this is a theropod, I'm sure as hell not interested. I don't wanna see any more theropods for a while. Make us some other dinosaurs plz.
