I will be buying a Elasmosaurus, and I want to know your opinion, what is the best figure?

I know the Schliech one is very good, but now OOP and hard to find. The Carnegie one is sub-par, but the Bullyland and Kinto (actually a Plesiosaurus I think) are very good figures.

Although the kinto is actually a Plesiosaurus. The elasmos' necks by bullyland are all a little too "wavy". Schleich probably has the best neck, but the eyes are in the temporal fenestrae (if you don't know, they are way too far back on the head). Kaiyodo make a very nice Elasmosaurus for their series 7 dinotales line, but the pose of the front flippers is a little extreme. I'd go to either schleich or kaiyodo!

If you are looking for just an Elasmosaurus-proper, the Schleich one is worth hunting down (and paying a premium for); The Bullyland is pretty good too.
If it is just long-necked plesiosaurs in general, I would say the CollectA Hyrdotherosaurus or the Kinto Plesiosaurus are better.

Of course in retro and no-accurate elasmos, Invicta is an extremely elegant swan-like creature.

If you are looking for a general long-necked plesiosaur then I agree that the Invicta one is the best. Although the neck is raised it isn't too extreme. And the painted version even has a face, well eyes at least!

I think some older versions had a face. Mine not, tought it's kinda chewed and I think it had once some sort of mouth and teeth. Still without face is a cool design.

Yeah, I forgot about the Invicta one, it's very "classy", it looks so majestic (but then again all invicta figures do in a way).

Duh? So do I! But here it is: The Kinto one, a closer look And the "Unofficial" Plesio: Lock Ness ;D Here you see it and the Kinto figure being terrorized by the Safari Tylo Graceful Invicta ones: the darker one is a unusual material, it has a hallow ring to it, feel like metal or something very similar, anyone knows if there is such a thing?
