THE DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS Expo resin figures Frenguellisaurus ischigualastensis & Saurosuchus galilei ..... This is the Frenguellisaurus that came with the Expo book. I'm not sure if it's the same figure that is sold seperately in a box. Does someone know if it's different, maybe smaller? Frenguellisaurus book figure ..... ..... and in comparison with a 1:3 skull replica of the Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis by Ants / InHandMusem ..... Saurosuchus ..... ..... chasing the Safari Scutosaurus ..... I'm absolutely delighted with this one . It's about 1:35 / 1:40, the detail is amazing and the pics don't even do justice to this wonderfully sculpted figure!!

I'm already infected with wanting the Saurosuchus. I think it's the best of the three resin figures.

Helge, looks to me like there are some small diferences in size, pose and color between the book and box figure. Enough to warrant getting both? Can you take a pic like the 2nd one of mine to compare? They're right up snug against each other. I know that the ankles of mine extend out beyond the edge of the base, for one thing.

Radman's box figure looks a little bigger to me. Is the Frenguellisaurus also considered 1/35 - 1/40 scale? Not too familiar with that guy. Where did you guys get both of yours? I am really liking both figures, especially the Saurosuchus!

Wow, that book does look amazing! Thanks Radman. I forgot about Clawmark Toys and I even have it bookmarked. It also seems from your pics that the Saurosuchus comes in two different shades? Radman's looks more of a tan with a dark grey wash and Helge's looks more like a tan with a brown wash. Hmmm? Also, it seems, according to what I can see in that book, that Frenguellisaurus and Herrerasaurus are two different dinos. The Frenguellisaurus looks to be much larger than the Herrerasaurus. Very cool stuff, guys! Thanks for sharing!!

No different shades on these. I just had to take my picture in the middle of the night > flashlight! If you have a look on the page before in this thread, you see that mine is also much darker than it seems from the pic above.
