Look what I found: A warhammer dinosaur! A pretty nice one too, with loads of detail... but of course I couldn't leave well enough alone. I wanted to get the harness off, but there was just no way I could recreate all the surface detail. Hence the feathers... that, and the big claw that I choose to interpret as evidence these are meant to be some kind of dromie. Don't know what possessed me to paint a green one... all the same, I don't hate the color! The black/red one has repositioned hands, though it doesn't really show in photos. Both are very much "make it up as I go" experimental pieces, both wrt feathering and colors... so please critique, just as long as you realize I'm essentially a clueless amateur and this is just me gradually learning by doing!

Looking good, but any chance of some close-ups and/or higher resolution pics? Especially for the second one.

Have you ever seen the short film "Pod's Travels" ? There is a pyroraptor in it named Pod, and he looks almost exactly like the one in the second picture! Good job

How's this? Of course, this magnification makes all the wonky bits stand out... after all, the first pics are about life size! Another one, just started today. You can see all the awesome skin detail - I hate having to cover that up!

Wow, really nice work on that red and black one. Great colours for a dromaeosaur and I can't see any 'wonky bits'! Good job fixing the hands too.
