Just finished to mount the kickass Elasmosaurus skeleton by GeoWorld (100% italian product ;D)... It's very, very accurate, from the tip of the tail to the tip of the nose; heck, it almost looks like the Elasmo skeleton i saw at the Aathal Sauriermuseum From the same line i preordered the Ichtyosaurus and the Carnotaurus skeletons, but probably i'll get almost all of their models... They are cool because 1) they are made in Italy 2) they are very, very close to the real fossil Strongly recommended I hope that they are better than the terrible T.rex stuff they have done.

Yeah, the Rex is definitely not one of their best... Strange as it is, their best skeletons are the ones of the less-known species, of the sea and flying reptiles and of the ice age mammals Oh, and as soon as that friend of mine will borrow me again her digital camera, i'll surely take pics of the long-necked guy

The Proganochelys figure came from eBay. You can tell it is a female by the eyelashes, and because it is named Pauline, from the PBS program, “Dinosaur Train.” The spikes on the neck and tail are realistic. Come on Bullyland, you can top this.

If not, it looks like this:

Finally, the Shapeways arrived--one Megacrioceras (in grey), one Limnoscelis, and two Crassigyrinus (one white, one grey).
And they are super cool! I am ready to go with order number two!
Also, finally received my Kaiyodo JP Edition set of 5 dinos. I like the green rex (although the white will always be a favourite).

I want to see the Komodo Dragon eats Cobra toy . Me too. And yes, pictures, please, Sid! I'll take pics of it some time. Suffice to say, it's a fun little toy whereby the Komodo Dragon has a string in its mouth with a Cobra at the other end: pulling the string makes the Cobra being pulled towards the Dragon's mouth, while the beast wiggles its tail. Very cute. ;D I also need to take a separate pic of that set of extinct animals (Mammoth, Dodo, Steller's Sea Cow, Tasmanian Tiger, Quagga), because I've never seen it before but I have a feeling people here might like it.

Great that they arrived so quickly. Both packages - yours and mine - didn't take more than a week to arrive. Oh, by the way, this was what I received from DinoLord yesterday:

I've always liked that one! Reminds me of fire Me too! By the way, this is once again a Dinotales Siamotyrannus with a paint scheme reminiscent of an extant lizard (the others were Crotaphytus collaris and Heloderma suspectum). At first I thought it's similar to Diploglossus monotropis but I'm sure that it's coloured after a red specimen of Shinisaurus crocodilurus (they're quite variable in their reddish colour so I added three links of different specimens): www.cngui.com/uploads/200702/20070222223114634.jpgwww.flickr.com/photos/11304433@N00/421586051/media.photobucket.com/image/recent/stevetastic/adult1.jpgShinisaurus also has the same dark lateral spots as this figure. EDIT: I wanted to italicize Shinisaurus crocodilurus but accidently I made an image tag around the name instead... where's the coffee?

Well, I've had a pretty dang awesome week... First the Kaiyodo Acro and Deinonychus from DinoLord showed up - and wow, they're every bit as gorgeous as I'd hoped! Then a lot of goodies from the Netherlands (thanks, Mnemo!) - an eagle, a skunk, a lemur and an iguanodon as well as some cool tinysaurs. Last week I managed to find a Papo spinosaurus in an actual shop ( ), they even had several so I could pick the one with the better paintjob! And then my favorite nerd store had Tamiya kits on sale, so I picked up the chasmo with calf. Today TGF sent me three of the new "eco domes" - lemurs, triceratopses and tyrannosaurs. Best models ever? Well, no. But I'm a sucker for sets with more than one of each animal, and anyway they're a great size for my limited shelf space. And finally.... How awesome is the Safari Anatotitan? Pretty dang awesome! ;D I'll be getting the Edmontosaurus too, but from another seller, so this little guy got the Collecta Muttaburrasaurus as a traveling companion. (Although... is this really a muttaburra? Shouldn't the nose have a bump, rather than this just slightly convex profile?) Attachments:
