Since I have a typical collector´s character (I can´t say no and need everything for something)... I'm very much like that too. Terribly, isn´t it ;D I´m far from living Zen, where material and spirit are one and the state of the room shows clearness of mind... The "Dinosaur messie syndrome " sign fits me better ;D

The "Dinosaur messie syndrome " sign fits me better ;D My room is completely hazardous for those unacquainted with its terrain. One might be crushed by a collapsing mountain of books and set off avalanches of yet more books and sundry other things besides. And that's only to start with. ;D You're so right too about that conflict between desire for simplicity and clarity and desire for objects of beauty (in many various forms). Blade, I do not know how you don't have continual nightmares. ;D

I collect, obviously, dinosaurs and other prehistoric animal figures. I also have a collection of fossils, but I don't add to that collection regularly, only if something really gets my attention and fits my budget. Together with my fossils I've got some replicas. I'm especially fond of the two Neanderthal skull casts I own. I've got some masks, and some animal skulls (three of them decorated with stones, beads etc.). As a kid I collected all kinds of animal bones, feathers and shells. I think you could say I also collect books... mostly art(history) books, but also fiction. I have a thing with facsimile editions of 16th-17th century publications. And I own some first editions of the 19th century Dutch writer Louis Couperus, one of my favourite authors. I also own quite a lot of old prints. Because of my love for the German artist Albrecht Durer, whose prints are extremely costly, I try to collect old copies of his art. Preferably from the 16th- or 17th-century. But unfortunately I haven't been adding to this collection for a long while now And to conclude: I love all kinds of rarities and curiosities

I used to collect everything Star Wars, carnvivorous plants and Metal - CDs a few years ago. What are your favorite metal bands? I listen to most of the genre, except for death and black metal. I like too many bands to list, but they're mostly progressive, classic, or power metal. ;D

I think a good mime has a lot of talent. To be able to tell a story well and be funny without talking isn't that easy.
