Variant 1/12 Velociraptor kits-Fire, Ice, and Glow Feb 6, 2011 20:06:20 GMT

Well the Dimetrodon is still underway- the past few months have had their share of distractions, but in the meantime I've also been experimenting with possible versions of the velociraptor kit. with the help of my buddy Jeremy Monz, molding and casting extraordinaire, I've been able to paint up Fire and Ice variants of the kit. There is no logic or story involved here, just having fun with a fun little kit. Here's a few pics:

These versions will be possible variants for the the poseable kits to come, and the special order kits such as these (clear and translucent orange) will only be $5 more than the regular resin kit, at least for this one anyway.

Still to come will be the Metal and Glowing Raptors.

I just bought the solid grey version of this sculpt. I can't for it to get here, so I can play with it

I have been a fan of yours for some time, David, and you've got a collector out of me! These guys look awesome, I want them both. And the Dimetrodon... and any other pose able figure you come out with, lol!

Not sure if I've mentioned this anywhere yet, but I am planning an Oviraptor soon for the poseable kit line.

I was seriously bummed to see that line fail. Anything even remotely close spikes my Happy Meter. Can't wait to see what else you have in store.

Eventually I would like to do one- but it wouldn't be anytime soon. I do however, have an Amargasaurus planned for next year.
