Thanks And here it is, the second part! prehistoric mammals and their scaly, sail-backed ancestors Ornithopods! Armors, horns and domes... The tanks of the ornitischian army! Stegosaurs and sauropods... The WS newer Brachio and the Apato are real beauties, aren't they? The swimmers, the flyers and all the other non-dinosaurian heroes who walked the Earth in the Mesozoic! All in one, well, two pics! And now, a closer look at some of my repaints: Papo Parasaurolophus repainted as the male Para seen in TLW Papo Raptors repainted as the males seen in TLW and the Alpha female in JP3 Collecta Dromaeosaurus Albertensis (customized Collecta Velociraptor, epoxy putty + acrylic paint) ;D My third Papo T.rex, with customized arms, scars and a new paint job... He's nicknamed "Sharptooth" (a reference to "The Land Before Time") and he's the fierce King who rules Isla Nublar in my upcoming JP fanfictions But, wait, what's happening? He's sensed something... Ah! a Raphus Cucullatus (trivially known as "Dodo") has come to defy the King! Man, who knows what epic clash we'll witness now? Two perfect warriors, forged for centuries just to fight this battle for supremacy; will the brave bird be able to sit again side by side the mightiest heroes in the hall of the eternal glory? Will... Nope. Obviously the Tyrannosaurus completely trashed him in a blink of an eye. Oh well, at least the poor Dodo had the guts to face the Rex, even if it's unclear to call this an act of courage, or an act of sheer stupidity... ;D Up to the next episode, ehm, post

Great collection! Whose old record albums are those, Jethro Tull, Elvis? They have to be from before you were born!

I second that! Really beautiful repaints and customs too. And look, walnuts! ;D But the ending of that confrontation was too obvious, surely. ;D We all expect the Dodo to lose. I rather hoped you would defy it. ;D

Yeah, yeah, i know... Heck, i expected the Dodo would have run away the moment Rexy screamed his battle cry but no, that stubborn bird went headlong against his opponent... Even the T.rex facepalmed, just before destroying the feathered punk ;D

As Liquid Snake would say, it's not finished yet! Here's the third and last batch of pics of my treasure ;D The material embodiment of "hubris" or chaos, those boxes are full of chinasaurs, DinoRiders, JP/MIB/Godzilla/Alien/Predator toys, action figures, Lego sets and many other kinds of stuff i've yet to place in my room... You can notice a JP board game and a bunch of rolled posters, mainly dinosaur-themed. But some of my JP toys don't quite like to stay closed in a box and suddenly come out from the shadows! As you can see, the red Rex has just defeated a Kenner Alien Queen, smiling at the camera just to show how badass she is... the other JPToys, along with their pals (let's see if you recognize the Star Wars "intruders" ;D) A Resaurus Giganotosaurus... I have also a Styracosaurus of the same brand but i've yet to find him in all that mess Eggs, toobs and sealife from Safari! Do ya remember those guys? They were the first mini-figures (as far as i remember) made by Safari, and they still look cool even if they are more than 20 years old (the Styra and the Proto are my favorites and, seriously, they ROCK)... Heck they are actually some of the first animal figures i got, back in '89 Ah, bet you never saw them... Cool, aren't they? The awesome Raptor (and James Lester) from Primeval, plus the REAL king of Skull Island! JP memorabilia... The stuff dreams are made of; and remember... ... If it's not Jurassic Park, it's extinct! ;D Actually i just realized this won't be the last pics of my collection; there's something else you MUST see... (begins to laugh like a maniac)

Hey sid, I´m always a little lazy. Why don´t you insert the pics directly into the thread?

Hey sid, I´m always a little lazy. Why don´t you insert the pics directly into the thread? Yeah, you're probably right; i didn't insert the pics directly 'cause i was afraid it would cause the page to slow down, overload, or some other cyber-crap like that If the mods say it would cause no problem, i can insert 'em

Sid, as long as all your photos are confined to one post it shouldn't be a problem It's not really spam if it's one long collection post (though it can become spammy if people replying to the imageheavy post do not delete all the photos in their reply post...)

And how can i place all the pics in one big post if i've already posted 'em? To Zopteryx: Yeah, it's a nice way IMHO to not get the models be covered in dust

Well you can modify your post, and put [**IMG] in front of each of the links to all your pictures and then [**/IMG] directly after each of your links as well. Just remove the asterisks (if I don't put those asterisks in there, they will not show up in my post for demonstration of what the code is) This board uses bbcode, which is different than html, but does basically the same thing.

Nice collection. I like the papo para repaint the best. I have that stuffed JP dilopho hanging around somewhere too. While other little kids were sleeping with teddybears I was sleeping with that thing when I was younger.
