Okay, so we don't really have a thread just for Shapeways figures, except for David's. So, since we are starting to see more figures from them, might as well start a thread just for them ;D So, feel free to add your figures that are not already posted ;D David Krentz figuresNo need to elaborate on this set ;D Painted Angie Rodrigues figuresPainted Razh00 figuresI have his others on order ;D Here they are painted ( will be repainting them soon ) Eric StudioSome cool ammonites, unfortunately only two are currently available. They are nicely sculpted figures. The Group Heteroceras This one is the larger of the two models. It also originally came with a hook to hang the figure. I had to cut it off ;D Emiciceras The smaller of the two. Here are the Emiciceras painted

I never ordered the ammonites by Eric's Studio because I was fearing they may be unprintable. But they look great, especially your painted versions. And then there are of course the beautiful and relatively large models by Battle_Brak: Male Velociraptor, Psittacosaurus, ...and Protoceratops (quilled version). EDIT: Not to forget that shapeways has become a resource for human scale figures. So if you think Hans looks too immature, here's Grandpa by Tristan Bethe ;D: He is exactly 40 mm high.

They are bigger than the Krentz figures, and the details came out very nicely, even the suckers on the tentacles printed nicely.

I didn't paint the Velociraptor yet, I still have to chose a colour scheme. I guess my next shapeways order will also contain these ammonites.

Really nice work on the ammonites, Boki. I was lucky to get the smaller megacrioceras for only $3.00! I should have ordered a couple, as it now appears to be discontinued, except for the larger version. Still totally worth it, though.

I'm glad that most of you liked the ammonites ;D They were fun to paint, so much so that I ordered more ;D Well, I plan on adding them, once painted, to Malcolm's Tylo @ Radman, wow, lucky you! Have you painted yours yet? Some of the guys other ammonites are super cool! Too bad they are no longer, or not available.

I had to join the fun, so here's the Crassigyrinus and Megacrioceras, in my own muted style of course. One of these days I'll paint something in bright colors! I also got the Limnoscelis and Pantylus, so who knows... BTW, thanks to Razh00 and Eric for making these!

Hey, Radman, I like the subtle shading on your Crassigyrinus. Did you spray the paint on or did you brush on pigments? I still have to decide what paint schemes I want for my three Razh00 amphibians.

Thanks! I brushed on some dry pigments. It's a lot more forgiving medium, especially for these small figures.

Hmmm, I have not tried that yet. Do they stay or rub off? I can't wait to get my figures, I should have them by Friday
