I put my Pteraspis in my fish tank, and took the picture, that's it. I used photoshop to crop out the date, and make it lighter so you could see pteraspis's rostrum better, but that's it. What was your light source and how did you prevent light from reflecting off the glass of the aquarium? The Pteraspis itself is really clear and colorful.

What was your light source and how did you prevent light from reflecting off the glass of the aquarium? The Pteraspis itself is really clear and colorful. It's just a regular florescent fish tank bulb, maybe 15 inches long, I've had it for probably a year and a half. It's nothing special, just enough of a spectrum going on to let living plants, well, live. As for the light not reflecting off of the fish tank, the light is right above the water, so there would be no light to reflect off of the glass from the outside I just put the camera lens right up against the glass.

It's really a kool diorama CT! You should probably add the Starlux Drepanaspis, Dinotails 3 Hemicyclaspis, and Yowie Lost Kingdom B Macnamaraspis.

If I had a starlux drepanaspis I wouldn't submerge it, I'd be afraid of it dissolving in the water I have the kaiyodo hemicyclaspis, and a kaiyodo pterygotus, but they aren't all to scale with each other!

Nice job on the Anky/Saich - whatever it is, this may be your least worst* ever! Relax, I'm just messin withya. I do like the angle of the shot. Get that camera dirty! ;D I will add, that a thorough blackwash on the back will improve this model very much. Again though, nice job. * From Typ-O-Negative, whose Best-of album was called the 'Least -worst of'. I kinda liked Type-O, esp the Bloody Kisses album.

Thanks guys, I always try to get as low as I can when taking pictures of dinos. It makes them seem larger and less toy-like.
I'm really happy that the snow is melting here! A good three feet is gone from last week.

Kinda reminds me of that scene from Dinosaur where the big old lady brachio jumps in the lake and makes a title wave. All you need is a tiny surfing lemur off to the side.
