I am a newcomer here, posting on behalf of my son Liam, aged 9. Could anyone recommend a range of dinosaur model toys that are reasonably accurate and still robust enough to withstand being played with. As I type this he is telling me that it would be cool to have some non-dinosaurian extinct animal models - particularly Cameroceras. Thanks in advance, Neil

Not knowing where you're from, I'm going to say Safari - either their own Wild Safari collection or the Carnegie collection.
As for cephalopods - I'd recommend the Bullyland, or else the Kaiyodo stuff.
Welcome to the forum, by the way!

Hi and welcome Neil! Most Schleich, UKRD, AAA are all a little inaccurate, but very suited for sandbox action. I personally would not have my daughter play with my Bullylands or Safaris, although they´re probably robust enough. I would not recommend Kaiyodo, they´re very small and parts get lost very quickly.
