Finally got this 1/24 Platybelodon done. It was a long, aggrivating project, but very worth it. I can't wait to find the time to complete the diorama! Sculpting and molding requires some patience, no? Hopefully the T-rex vs Edmontosaurus will be done within 3 weeks. The T-rex looked funky, so he got a full makeover. Attachments:

I absolutely LOVE his rough, hand-sculpted appearance. I am struggling to get that same sort of texture on my diplodocus.
Please post pics of the dinos!

Thanks. Here are some pics of the dinos. Both are a shelf-friendly 1/30th scale. The Edmo is practically done (he is a bit diferent than in the photo), Mr Rexy needs some dental, jaw, and arm work. Attachments:

There's a huge list of models/dioramas to be completed, but it's soooo time consuming. There are a few secrets in the works, hopefully they turn out well.

Those are wonderful models! Love the platy and Edmonto (was that a bite on his tail?). Are these personal pieces, or are you moulding them and selling them? Can't wait to see the finished ones.

Yep, the damage on the tail was inspired by the skeleton at the Denver Museum. Because the bones healed over, they know the animal survived the damage. They claim the only thing capable of doing that would have been T-rex, though I'm sure there could have been other factors. It makes a good story, though.
I'll be offering them, but have to read back through the forum agreement to see what is allowed here. After looking at materials costs and labor time, I'm thinking $45 US.
