I was looking around for the Max Salas hadrosaurids and iguanodontians (Ouranosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Corythosaurus, Shantungosaurus, and Iguanodon), and noticed that they are either impossible to get or incredibly expensive. I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for some good, to-scale ornithopods.
I know the Carnegie Collection has some relatively similar-sized ornithopods (Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus, Corythosaurus, and Maiasaura), and that Angie Rodriguez's Shapeways models are to scale (though I think they're smaller than the Carnegies).
If anyone has any suggestions at all, not limited to these genera, I'd love to know! They can be Safari or CollectA-quality, or slightly more expensive (Shane Foulkes, Galileo, etc.).
Thank you for the help!

I like putting these three 1:35 models together. Kaiyodo Dinoland Maiasaura, Dinosaur Studio Lambeosaurus & Favorite Collection desktop model Parasaurolophus .......

The Kinto Favorite Parasaurolophus is in 1:50 scale. This is not the Softmodel. As I wrote it's the desktop model and about 30cm long. You wouldn't say there was a 15m Para, would you?

I was referring to the soft model. Sorry if it was unclear.

Where would I be able to find those models? And do you have prices for them? They look really good, especially that Maiasaura.

I have the Soft Model, and it's a superb Parasaurolophus walkeri. One of the best 'toy line' ones that I've seen. I hope to review it in due course.

I'd love to get my hands on the Soft Model para, although the only online carrier I can find is across the ocean. I'm sure that won't stop me, though.

Not at all! At the moment, I'm doing Rotary Exchange in northeastern Brasil. When I get home, I'll be back in upstate New York.
Also, has anyone ordered anything from Dinosaur Studios recently? The website hasn't been updated since 2001, and that kinda gets me thinking I won't be seeing that lambeosaur anytime soon.

Ah, right. I guess you were looking at Dinosaur Time here in the UK? I find it odd that Dan of Dan's Dinosaurs doesn't stock it - he has a few other Favorite models. Might be worth sending him a PM (he's in the US).

I was. A great site, and I did like the prices, though they'd make more sense if I wouldn't also have to pay for overseas shipping.
I'll email Dan about it, definitely. I've been bugging him lately about CollectA and Max Salas and others. He does have the allosaur and deinonych (first time I've used that nickname; too lazy to italicize now), I believe.

too lazy to italicize now On here I hardly ever bother. Too many scientific names! But I always do for blog posts. Of course. ;D

Don't know if this helps you, but here is a picture of all the (well, almost, pics are 3 years old!More addition since then ;D) the Hadrosaurs in my collection. It should give you a pretty good idea of how each one compares with the others. Here are some of my favorites And some lovely Paras Well, hope it could be of help. The figures are all different scale, but the Kinto one I believe is 1:50, Carnegie 1:40, the Battats 1:40. So that should give you a good idea of their size comparisons. ;D

What is that Iguanodontian with the black and yellow snout on the far right? I think it's the TS Toys WWD Mutaburrasaurus.

So jealous. I spotted the Battat Parasaurolopus on eBay, and have been watching it for a few days now... I'm hoping to win it. I have the Ouranosaurus still, which is awesome. I see the Wild Safari Hypacrosaurus in there; I might get that one as well. And I believe I have the Carnegie Corythosaurus in my room. Boki, what's that single-colored iguanodontian, third from the right? It looks really good.
