Ok, let me try and take a machete to your intellectual thickets.. lol This one : rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=2&campid=5335874113&toolid=10001&customid=rexy&ext=260300453315&item=260300453315 Is a SEGA Rex from an older line...it has been re-painted at least twice ..there is also a large Triceratops.. the same one as here : www.amazon.com/dp/B0013BR6X4/ref=nosim/?tag=mexp116-20&creative=380333&creativeASIN=B0013BR6X4&linkCode=asnand it has also been repainted three times..once in " realistic tones ", again in a flat brown with red markings ( Clawmark Toys had this version ) and it was released a couple years ago in the Dinosaur King colors as Chomp the Trike aka orange Triceratops. The large Red Rex in the Amazon link is a new sculpt for the Dinosaur King line by noted Japanese artist Shinzen..his resin kit for this beast was a couple hundred bucks and DinoFarm had it briefly in-stock from a trade deal and sold them for 100.00 USD...it DEF worth the 52.00 USD for both...I'm thinking of getting another repaint myself. The Dinosaur King series of vinyl models were sold in game machines in Japan and are considered hard to find... there is also a Stego and Amargasaurus I've seen , and supposedly a Baryonyx, and Carnotaurus...both of which have eluded me...but I have friends in Japan keeping an eye out for em'. The figures everyone was bidding on, on eBay are the standard size action figures...not too rare really...in Japan anyway..their Amazon store sells them..but here it's the first time I've seen them listed. Many of the images on the eBay auctions were cg from the game or tv series...like for example the Carnotaurus or Ace...his name in the anime. I'm hoping Playmates releases the larger figures or some super detailed ones of their own...

Why don't you just post it so everyone can see it? I am sure everyone is curious what this Amarga looks like, am I right folks? O o o can't wait to droll over the pics Amarag "used" to be my favorite sauropod until Procon introduced Agustinia, now I wish other company will start making it. But I still have a soft spot for Amargas and I seek out every figure of it I can find ( That I can afford anyways ;D)

Dinofarm had pics of all of em' o nthe card that came with the Rex but they have deleted them now.
I'm running out of room to host pics is one problem..lol but I emailed you a large and small pic of it so fee free to post em' if you like..I also have one of the Stego and I think the Carnotaurus in box but they aren't good enough really...the Carno is so bad I'm only betting it's him based on what I've been told from my contacts in Japan.
I'd love to have this guy it's huge..if you have the Rex in the photo you can tell..me I would guess it 's easily 24" or larger..the tail is prob a seperate piece just like on the Rex. The Carno to go with it would just be...well...I'd better start writing Santa Clause... lol

I, too, will keep an eye for it and will let you know. I definitely need him in my sauropod collection ;D Unfortunately the photo is too small to post for everyone to see No, I don't have the Rex, but I may start saving some $ to buy it and the Ceratops, Amazon have both for like $59 dollars I think.

Yeah it's a great deal on both of them for sure considering how much they cost me even... I pulled the photos from a website in Japan..one is small the other is a little bigger I think..if I sent them both and didn't get confused...hotmail's a pain, I had to send them as files instead of photos just to get em' to you. :/ It would be great if they released the large vinyls here as figures or something...what really interested me is that none of them were made for Dino King, they were all sculpted by top paleo-artists in Japan for Sega..what Sega did with them..well..they are great pieces at any rate.

Yes, you did send me both. I guess I better hurry with those figures, yes? Never know when it all of a sudden be unavailable. I got a ceratops, a big one, but he looks different than the one pictured somehow. Maybe a different paint? But the sculpting also looks different. I agree, they should release some big SEGA figures in the US. I'm really interested in that Amarga now

Very true...they could disappear and then no more...things aren't produced that long in Japan... the companies move with the popular culture which changes so quickly. The big Sega vinyl Trike came in at least 3 colors I know of in diff series...the latest was the orange Dino-King version... have a pic or link to the one you bought ? The Amarga can prob be had as a kit ( if it hasn't been discontinued as well ) but the price would be very prohibitive for me..I'd much rather have the vinyl figure.

You have to guess they have meat on their bones..we just don't know how much meat... The trike looks muscular in person...especially when you see how wide it is. The brown Trike you have is the same one as the dino-king sculpt on Amazon..it's the 2nd color version of it if I'm not mistaken.
