I know you were kidding, I wasn't mad.
I love the AAA Tyrannosaurus...don't be hatin on it now. I don't consider it a chinasaur.
Who wouldn't buy the skeletons if they were 5 for a dollar?

Chinasaurs are usually the derogatory term for cheap-made figures that can be found in dollar stores and other cheap places. That said, some companies like Waiphoon have accidentally turned into (inexpensive) collectibles because they make some interesting animals (pliosaurus, rhamphorhnychus, stygimoloch) but are idiotically hard to actually find. And there is still gold to be found among the bins of chinasaurs--I know I have mentioned my WwD-inspired Placerias, and my set of prehistoric mammals (that includes a Synthetoceras). Plus, some aren't so bad for diorama fillers or attempts to repaint/customize--and since they are cheap, it's isn't as hard to justify!

I agree, although I don't include AAA,Waiphoon, ELC on the list of Chinasaurus. I call them the "higher"end since ironically some of these figures are really good and rare, commanding higher $$$ than most figures by the more well known lines! AAA released the best Hyenadon and Entelodont figure, straight out of WWPB! Unfortunately they are now out of production and is becoming very rare and expensive (I stocked up on them ;D). Some of the dinosaurs, too are very good looking like the Styraco,Gallimimus, and the not so but hard to find rearing brachi and elasmo. Some of Waiphoon figures are also highly collectable like the camara and styraco and the small liopleurodon, figures based on Kaiyodo models. I highly encourage collectors to keep an eye on them and buy figures that are rare... speaking of so sbell, any word on parting with one of your Synthetoceras? If anyone every come across this figure, please I beg you to get one and I will buy it from you. I think they were available in Canada for a while. It is one of my favorite prehistoric mammal. www.dinosaurcollector.150m.com/aaa.htmwww.waiphoon.com/index.php?product=6_8_DINOSAUR&c=12&pp=1&p=1&ph=l

I guess it comes down to what's being offered. I also have some other doubles from other companies that I am contemplating letting go of. I'll keep you all posted.

Thats a hard one You have such a huge collection, many rare, that it would be hard to find one you want. But for what it's worth, here is what I have to offer for trade: Battat Ouarno, pachy, stego, edmontonia. I have a Lawson exclusive Kaiyodo figures, WWD Toro and pola (maybe on this one,not sure if I still have him), one SEGA fukuisarus, or one Futabasaurus. Those are the one I think that might entice you, the rest I don't think you would even conseider If none interest you, then maybe PM me a price for one of the Synthetoceras, yes?

Sounds good to me, but I will make it clear to everyone, it is not AAA, but is made by Chick Yuet, a Chinese company (that is now defunct).

I really want the figure regardless of who made it Chick Yuet is no more, but they made a line of 6 prehistoric mammals. Along with the Synth, they made a mammoth, smilodon, entelodon, hyaenodon and coelodonta. All of those 5 are distinctly AAA-like in pose, with the colours just a little different, and of course hollow instead of solid. I have spares of some, but not all--I only came across them twice, in 2 different cities, and the Smilodon was almost non-existent; I only have one mammoth and a couple hyaenodon as well. I have a decent herd of Coelodonta and entelodons though.

Well, they are made by a chinasaur company, and are obvious knock offs of AAA--but the rarity of three of the animals as figures there (Synthetoceras, Hyaenodon, Entelodon) makes it a better set than normal. And in my opinion, they got the Hyaenodon face more correct--it seems too long (in both WwPB and in the AAA figure).

Oh no, now I want a entelodon and hyaenadon, too Any chance you may want to part with some of your duplicates? let me know, I am truly interested. I need to beef up my prehistoric mammal collection

My Plesio fishing pole broke, I lost that one I did try :-/See it's not as easy finding that one as you guys say it is. And not as cheap either darn it. looks like aandg is gathering up aaas - maybe the plesio will come up on their store for $30 soon, like their other ones. I'll keep my eyes open for you... OMG! Look Dr. Admin, he did not waste time at all! And you are pretty close to what you thought he would sell it for! I can't bring myself to pay that much for it unfortunately So if anyone come across one that is cheap, let me know. rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=2&campid=5335874113&toolid=10001&customid=ELCplesio&ext=230304042361&item=230304042361
