Papo Ankylosaurus is almost perfect, all you have to do is call it a Euoplocephelus. Not exactly. It is much closer to Euoplocephalus, but is still far from being perfect. It IS a nicely made figure, and looks convincing, but it's not accurate. For example, the hips are far too narrow.

And Euoplocehalus only had 3 or 4 pairs of big spikes on the back....the scute arrangement is completely different.
Papo "Ankylosaur" is mostly a nearly-starved-to-death Tarchia.

Its tail also couldn't swing upwards in such a dramatic manner.
But before we get too concerned with accuracy (which I know isn't the material point here), the Papo 'Ankylosaurus' is indeed very 'life-like'.

I **wanted** to like it. I tried. But after holding it in person, I passed. Then I went back to look at it again. Then carried it around the store. Then, passed again. Usually, I can get passed Papo's inaccuracies, but the ankylo's hips just bother me too much. :/

...It's a great model. Reminds me of the Shane Foulkes Ankylosaurus...
...narrow hips?
Not a problem. It is a male Ankylosaurus.

Hello guys. Please, don't get mad for inaccuracy. Most of us recognize that Paposaurs are life-like. All of we know they are inaccurate. So do not start a debate in such issue. Even if you want, just start another thread of "Most ACCURATE figures", and Paposaurs will not make into the list for sure. And thanks for the new suggestions. I'll update the list soon. Read you later.

Hello guys. The list has been updated. I'm making the file with pics, but is a long process. You can still add your suggestions to the list.
Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that this has been said before but the papo allosaurus is by far the most life like figure.

No, no, no; the VERY MOST realistic figure is the BULLYLAND EDIBLE SNAIL: You can see it crawl!
