Nobody here has any fears about sudden flea invasion? OK, I don't have pets and I take my bath twice a day, but bad surprises can happen. And the truth is, I have so many things in my house that in case of a flea invasion, I would have to throw away all my books, clothes and toys to make sure the invasion is totally cleaned off by the exterminator. Isn't that as terrfifying as fire or floods?

No fear. They are after all, only toys. Mere possessions. "The greatest treasures of all are a sound mind and a full belly." And friends and family. ;D

I sometimes wash my hands before tampering with my figures to keep human moisture at minamum I don't really worry about that either. They were made to be handled right? Some of my toys are older than me...I think they can handle my moisture.

If you don't have pets then I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about. Unless you know someone who has fleas.... Don't fleas hide on things that have fuzz...like teddy bears and carpets? I can't imagine a flea living very long on a piece of plastic.

I also believe they tend to live where the host animal sleeps and my cats certainly don't sleep on my toys or books. Fleas are easy to get rid of regardless, just get some Frontline or Advantage. Treat the host animal, the fleas will die.

But I certainly would get rid of all my stuff ..that won't stop them.

I'm not THAT worried either; not more about that than about fire of floods; I take basic precautions against all those things: I don't smoke, I keep myself clean, I keep my home clean and I never forget to turn electricity off before going to bed. I hardly ever have nightmares about fire, fleas or floods. But since we were talking about fears and people here underlined fire and floods, I thought useful to bring that possibility into this topic; it's part of the calamities that can happen. It's indeed rare, but not impossible.

We've had em' and got rid of them after all..it was an aggravation is all. My biggest concern is space..I'm running out and they just keep making MORE !
To quote Eric and Gary :
" Gary - I need more..more Dinosaurs. Eric, dumbfounded - MORE Dinosaurs ? Gary - Eric, you can never have ENOUGH. "
