Not necessarily! He was a big theropod, but just by falling how do you know it would die? It depends how hard they fall. Surely you don't think that every theropod that fell died? Else they'd be dying all the time from trying to attack prey.

I meant that if trex broke his arms when he fell, he couldn't get up. Not all other theropods, even if they did have broken arms, they still could have "pushed" themselves up.

Oh I see what you mean. I thought you were saying something preposterously wrong! ;D No, of course. An animal with broken arms would be useless. Even Carnotaurus had a use for them.
