Hi everyone! Another Italian coming... (me) Really nice this forum! I'm a fan of dinosaurs models too, even if I collect more dinosaurs toys than ralistic models...so I'm not really an expert...but your collections are amazing!
PS: for Gastonia: de dove sitto? Mi de camposampiero!

To Sid and Kikimalou: I write in (rough) English too, to allow everybody to understand what I'm saying. I come from Vicenza, a town near Venice (as Sid may know, I'm a "cat eater" ). I hope to come back to France for a brief vacation at the end of the summer. I would like to come back to Paris. Obviously I will visit again the Jardin Des Plantes, with the Museum Of Natural History. When I visited it for the first time (mid nineties), I fond the recently open Galerie de l'évolution really exciting. Instead, I was really disappointed from the paleontologic gallery of the museum, with spiderwebs on the poor skeletons... I hope something has changed since then. On the other hand, the museum shop had an incredible variety of dinos from all museum lines... I bought there several dinos, including the coloured invicta Baryonyx, one of my favourite pieces ever Could you please tell me how much it was? I´m desperately searching for this figure and until now the only chance was horrible prices on ebay uk. And, uhm, sorry: welcome to this great forum! You´ll find any kind of dinosaur enthusiast here for sure

Ciao!

Maybe we can open a new thread and call it "Little Italy" ;D That's actually a nice idea ;D Comunque, per quanto riguarda l'acquisto di modellini dinosaureschi via internet...Cavolo,a parte Dinoshop e Intelligame (negozi on-line in cui ho trovato molte cose interessanti...Dacci un'occhiata, potresti trovare qualcosa anche per te ),ho paura che rimanga solo Ebay (da cui non ho ancora comprato nulla,a dir la verità) Il vero problema, comunque, sono i costi aggiuntivi della spesa di spedizione che, specialmente su Ebay, talvolta raggiungono cifre assurde

Dinosaurs seem to be pretty big in Italy. Fabio Pastori springs to mind.
