Well. Normally, I don't feel the obsessive compulsive need to repaint my figures ( ;D ), but I just got sick of all the grey on the carnegie dilong. So, I decided to make him... more colorful. Hopefully he will remind no one of turkeys anymore.

Your best repaint so far. In fact, when I was looking at your dioramas and saw this repaint, I was wondering whether they really came in a second color. ;D If that tells you how good this is.

Remember too that it takes practice to improve. The more you do them, the more your style will change and develop. i like this one. I think maybe the teeth are a bit white. But, I like the colors and patterns a lot.

Wow, thats pretty cool, but to be honest, it looks like oxidized copper. I do like it, though.

I think the teals work fine. Colorful, but not really flashy, and the darker markings blend in just right. Like I said, it is all personal vision, and now, Cordy has stepped into the realm of artistic vision, as opposed to just slapping on a new color. Cooool.

You are improving The legs and hands could use another color though. I suppose you applied a reddish wash? It looks fine, but the teal is visible.

This is the best one I've seen you do so far. I still think you've got a way to go like Teton said though. Keep working at it , you have the ability to be good in time.

I did not say he had a way to go.....I just said that if he keeps doing them, he will see his style grow. But, I like this one a lot. I hate critiquing other people's work, because art is SOooo subjective. I can say, " I would do this, or that, differently", but it is all in the personal style of the individual artists. What works for me may not for others, and there are some things about mine that don't work for some viewers. I do not believe in "better than" when it comes to art. Not better or worse, just a difference in style. Imagine how boring it would be if all art was done the same way....?

Thanks sid. Although--- I hate all of the carnegie's golden eyes! Why an animal would have a metallic gold color for a cornea confuses me. ;D

I like the colors on this repaint. Good Job!
"Why an animal would have a metallic gold color for a cornea confuses me."
It is not that unusual. Especially when looking at animals like reptiles and birds. Some of them have insanely colored eyes.

Yeah, reps and birds do have pretty insanely colored eyes sometimes, but are they ever metallic gold?!?! ;D Ah, this is a fine excuse to post a photo of Ozzy, the Sand Goanna, who came here as a rescue. Gold it is. Dumptruck has some pretty crazy gold colors too... There are a number of others I am sure. These are just the ones that came to mind because I see them/tend to them daily.
