Could you tell me where I could find this beauties ? I think those are Toys R Us packages (they have some sort of licensing deal with Animal Planet/Discovery).

It seems like this would have been great for dioramas, underwater or flying through the air.

It seems like this would have been great for dioramas, underwater or flying through the air. Well here's another commercial where they had submarines, navy fleet, and a volleyball scene. You can still find these on eBay actually, just look up wonder world kenner. There's also a Star Wars version.

Finally my Colorata Marine Mammals DX box arrived ! Thy could have also called it the 'Whales DX box'. The figures are excellent, just as the DX Sharks are - the pics don't really do them justice. Now let's hope for a Dinosaurs DX box ;D. Sperm Whale ..... Killer Whale .....Bottle-nosed Dolphin & Pacific White-sided Dolphin .....Gray Whale .....Right Whale .....Humpback Whale .....Blue Whale .....Blue Whale & Humpback Whale each have two kinds of lower-jaw joints. Either in their normal closed or open feeding position . Here's the Blue for example: These seem really cool and I've been looking at a set of the Marine Mammals DX on eBay but I'm really not sure if I should buy them. How does the mouth opening work on the blue and humpback whales? Do you have any other pictures you would be willing to share? Such as front and top views?

Not to derail the thread, but does anyone have a list of all the retired safari sea life replicas? what about the MBA collection?

Sorry this took so long, but here are my AAA deep sea fish. Again, they don't have an AAA stamp (knockoffs?) and have different paint jobs. What do you think?

Hey zopteryx, thanks for posting! Wow, is that Hans the Schleich ReplicaSaurus scale figure in the picture? Then the fish must be different from mine not only in colour but also in size, it seems that yours are also a good deal smaller, perhaps only about two thirds the size of mine. Other than that the sculpts seem to be identical, though.

Interesting, maybe it had something to do with them being bin figures at a local aquarium?

I have never scene him for sale I still wouldn't expect much for it--as sharks go, hammerheads are probably second only to great whites and tigers, and the Bully isn't even better than most that are currently available.
