Hey, Himmapaan, you might as well grab your Colorata fish boxes (didn't you have a River Life set and some more?) and post some of them in the Kaiyodo, Yujin & Colorata Fish Mix. I'm sure you could also shoot some beautiful pictures of them! And there is of course nothing tedious in your comments. I also ordered the Bigeyed Thresher Shark postsaurischian already posted - plus these: Carcharodon carcharias (Linnaeus, 1758); Great White Shark. Safari Ltd. / Monterey Bay Aquarium Collection. Length 267 mm. Prionace glauca (Linnaeus, 1758); Blue Shark. Safari Ltd. / Monterey Bay Aquarium Collection. Length 187 mm. Sphyrna mokarran (Rüppell, 1837); Great Hammerhead Shark. Top: Safari Ltd. / Monterey Bay Aquarium Collection. Length 220 mm. Bottom: Safari Ltd. / Wild Safari Sealife. Length 166 mm. Phycodurus eques (Günther, 1865); Leafy Seadragon. Safari Ltd. Incredible Creatures. Length 208 mm.

Ah, Dr, that is a good idea; especially as I won't have new acquisitions to play with for a while. ;D
I love that leafy seadragon!

Wonderful, brontodocus - I have to think about that Monterey Great White! ..... boomerang ;D. You know, I think it's safe to say that I'm just going to be gushing over every new figure you post here, so I ought to save myself the trouble of repeating my hyperboles. ;D And save you the tedium of seeing them too. ;D Nah, please don't stop! We all love it ;D! ..... o.k., I googled the word 'hyperboles' and decided to stop pretty soon after having started ;D. Mathematics have never been one of my strengths .

Nor mine either! A hyperbole is a linguistic device. Though I see your addition of ' ' and am wondering whether I am being dense and missing a joke again? ;D

No, you didn't. Thanks for link - I didn't know about the rhetoric use of that term. Sometimes I wish I could write in German. I think I had much more to say then ....... sometimes. That's a lovely figure (edit: Monterey Tresher Shark) and beautifully displayed with the Takara Octopus! I received mine today as well (right now I'm taking the photographs) - your discussion about it brought me to the idea, so thanks for reminding me. In fact it was 'therizinosaurus' who brought it up for discussion - so we have to thank him ! That octopus looks brilliant. ..... and it has a friend from the same Takara series - the Octopus ornatus .....

I do! The MBA sea otter pair are so cute! It took me forever to find them, I had to browse through Ebay so many times last year to find them (same with the Wild Safari crocodile shark). The ones that you have, the paint scheme is a lot different as the kelp is painted green (while mine have more the golden brownish kelp color) and glossy (mine is not). Does anyone else have the Monterey bay Sea otters? I can post pics if no one else has. And does anyone know where the monterey bay pacific dolphin is still available for purchase?

Hey, K., you have a jaw dropping collection of marine animals including many I've never seen before. I can only encourage you to show us more of your collection than the group photos you already posted reveal. BTW, I'd still love to see someone posting a larger photo of the MB Grey Whale (as well as so many more others), I'm thinking of getting it, too (I'll probably end up doing so, anyway... ;D).

Would anyone like to contribute towards the 'Marine Life Gift for Himmapaan Fund?' ;D ;D ;D Just during this no-spending period, you know. ;D

Here's a few I haven't seen posted, and although I can't come close to some of the collections you guys have I hope you guys like these Cephalorhynchus commersonii (Lacépède, 1804), Commerson's Dolphin SeaWorld figure, perhaps based on a PlayVisions figure Enhydra lutris(Linnaeus, 1758), Sea Otter Safari Ltd. Monterey Bay Aquarium figures Triakis semifasciata (Girard, 1854), Leopard Shark Not sure of the maker, it has (TM) on the bottom, along with the name and scale (1/20). I have perhaps 8-10 figures all from this same line, if anyone has any interest in seeing them let me know. It's mostly sharks, a ray, and an octopus. Enjoy!

I should try to get myself a figure of a Commerson's Dolphin. Reminds me that the Duisburg Zoo once had one (together with Beluga Whales), it was the smallest cetacean I've ever seen alive, hardly over a meter long (and very cute). The MBA Sea Otters are great, too. Hey brontodocus! Judging by the pictures, your Andre! It's me Kevin from facebook. I do have more sea creatures in fact, here are the photos (I also have a few newer ones but I'm kinda lazy to take more pictures): Hey, somehow I knew it's you! Your collection is even bigger than I thought. Nice to see you also have the complete ReplicaToyFish collection. And it seems I can see that there are two versions of the WS Sealife Killer Whale Adult right here in the centre of your photo (the second and third orca from the left): I have just bought both a WS Killer Whale Adult and Bottlenose Dolphin, unfortunately these are the older versions, apparently . The newer ones look much better.

Thanks in advance, blade-of-the-moon! In the meantime, some new additions: Orcinus orca (Linnaeus, 1758); Orca. Two versions of Safari Ltd. / Wild Safari Sealife, the older version is the one in the foreground, length 147 mm. Newer version 150 mm. If you order this one from a store make sure which one you get - the item number is exactly the same in both figures but while the old version is quite poor the newer one is a really good figure. Delphinapterus leucas (Pallas, 1776); Beluga Whale Calf. Safari Ltd. / Monterey Bay Aquarium Collection. Length 118 mm. Epinephelus itajara (Lichtenstein, 1822); Atlantic Goliath Grouper. Safari Ltd. (I guess it's from a discontinued toob, does anyone know from which one exactly?). Length 66 mm. Balistes vetula Linnaeus, 1758; Queen Triggerfish. Safari Ltd. (this is not the Incredible Creatures version, instead it's also supposedly a toob figure). Length 45 mm. Anguilla anguilla (Linnaeus, 1758); European Eel (well, at least partially a marine animal ). Bullyland. Length 172 mm. Hippocampus sp.; Yellow Seahorse. Safari Ltd. Incredible Creatures. Length 199 mm. Tursiops truncatus Montagu, 1821; Common Bottlenose Dolphin. Papo. Length 121 mm, it's a little shorter than the one with the open mouth postsaurischian posted recently.
