Look at it this way Tyrannax, turning prehistoric animal species into characters straight out of pro wrestling is more fun than arguing over which was the strongest...this way, there is less predictability.Even giants like Tyrannosaurus rex could find itself on the losing end to animals that normally wouldn't have a chance! The Arsinoitherium soon finds out the hard way that crushing that nest was a bad idea...as the remaining pair of Ceratosaurus manage to tear him apart as well...but then one of the Ceratosaurus turns on the other one!!! Thus we end up with the unexpected twist that is: Ceratosaurus (alpha male) vs. Ceratosaurus (challenging the alpha male)!!! I know. It wasn't a rude comment. I like the thread personally, inaccurate as some of the battles are. And I don't mean that by time zones either.

Ceratosaurus tries to bite Styracosaurus' head, but he forgets about the frill spikes, which tear apart the predator's neck and face with ease Now,the Styracosaurus has to face... ...The revenge of the Tyrants, aka Styracosaurus vs Daspletosaurus ;D

Revenge turns out not to be so easy to achieve,as the Daspletosaurus finds out when it charges at his foe but misses and is then gored to death by the nose horn of the once again victorious Styracosaurus!!! But wait, coming from the sky is yet another challenger: Quetzalcoatlus!!!!
This sets up
Styracosaurus vs. Quetzalcoatlus!!!

Quetzalcoatlus, flapping his wings like crazy and poking Styraco's face with his massive beak, tries to lead the horned beast towards the center of a salthingyer lagoon, where the water is deep enough to drown the opponent, but the dinosaur still manages to gain the upper hand:aquick swift of the nasal horn and the flying reptile is history! But the blood of the dead animal lures another mighty beast in the now acquatic arena...Watch out, spiky face,'cause it's time for... ...Styracosaurus vs Tylosaurus Proriger

The Tylosaurus of course defeats the Styracosaurus by waiting near the shore, grabbing the hapless ceratopsian and dragging it to a watery death.
As the tylosaur is swallowing down it's last pieces of styracosaur flesh, who should come along the shoreline but...

The tylosaurus, which does not have jaws meant for grabbing and tearing apart prey, starts to feet his jaws break, and he chokes to deat. Celophysis wins by default. ;D
But! An angry flock of 2,000 epidendrosaurus attack!

The flock of epidendrosaurs beat a hasty retreat when they discover the glue used by the Liaoning farmers was cheap and below standard, so their feathers and some of the bones began to fall off! ;D Coelophysis vs. anomalocaris

But the Anomalocaris is nothing more than seafood to the Ceolophysis pack,as they pick it out of the water! Their meal is interrupted by the sudden arrival of the surprise returning Tyrannosaurus rex, who had survived his broken neck somehow, and looks to take his frustrations out on whatever he comes across!!!Unfortunately for the lead Coelophysis, the rest of his pack has deserted him!!!!!
Thus we have a one on one:
Coelophysis vs. The returning Tyrannosaurus!!!!
Things aren't looking good for the Coelophysis!!!!

The enraged Tyrannosaurus is chasing the lead Coelophysis when it runs into a swamp. While the lightly built dinosaur can tread easily over the mushy ground, the tyrannosaur finds itself mired deeply into the mud. The Coelophysis sits idly by while the king of dinosaurs bellows helplessly as death comes slowly. Then the Coelophysis feasts.
Gliding through the swamp, however, comes a new unseen threat
Coelophysis
vs
Rutiodon

The phytosaur floats nearby ,submerged with just its eyes above the waters surface as it sees the Coelophysis stop to take a drink of water and so it takes a low dive and swims quietly underwater to the bank- suddenly lunging up and grabbing onto the Coelophysis, he drags him under the water. The struggle alerts a nearby Spinosaur who wades over to the struggle- seeing the blood of the Coelophysisin the water triggers his attack mode to kick in-

The Rutiodon does not see the surprise returning Spinosaurus, who turns out to still be alive, until it's too late... But the once again victorious Spinosaurus finds it's not the only one who seems to return from the dead... it's now faced with what put him on the shelf the first time around, the always annoyed Diplodocus, looking to put him down once again!!!! Spinosaurus vs. Diplodocus 2 It's funny how jerky the dinosaurs I bring into the fray always turn out to be

The annoyed Diplodocus, enraged at seeing that jerky spinosaurus again, snorts and charges for our antagonist. Unfortunately, the spinosaurus is fast to react and clamps down on our hero's neck. Severing the jugular, the Diplodocus goes down. But as the Diplo falls it crushes the mighty spino's head halting all nueral activity. As the two behemoths draw their last breathes two scavengers rush in to claim thier birthright.

In yet another tragic twist of fate, unbelievably,BOTH the Megistotherium and the Rugops sustain fatal injuries during their long battle!!!!What are the odds of TWO draws in a row????But during their epic struggle, they manage to move out of the swamp out onto more open ground, where an always angry Stegosaurus just so happens to cross paths with a Carnotaurus with a nasty attitude,so we now have Stegosaurus vs. Carnotaurus!!!!!! It just so happens that both can be even more jerky than anything that we've seen yet!!!!! What will happen when these two hot-heads meet? ?

Rugops wins, as the megistotherium has a bad case of indigestion. The brachiosaurus nurse comes along to help the megistotherium, and the naughty rugops slaps her in the backside, so...

Niether the Stegosaurus nor the Carnotaurus while in mid battle could have seen that Rugops pop back up to finish off that Megistotherium after all,or that Brachiosaurus return!!!!!!!! But none are happy to see each other!!!!!!!! Carnotaurus vs. Stegosaurus vs. Rugops vs. The returning Brachiosaurus!!!!!!!!!
NO ONE COULD HAVE SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS COMING!!!!!!!

A volcano erupts, destroying both the Shell and Rock tribes. All current contending battling animals fall into the cracks in the ground from the ensuing earthquakes (along with a number of greasy cavemen and bikini-clad cavewomen) and are swallowed by the Earth.
From the ashes emerges a new battle for supremacy--
Crassigyrinus
vs.
Placodus
(habitat requirements seem to have no effect for whatever reason).

Crassigyrhinus unfortunately is hit by the last flying rock by the volcano, leaving only the Placodus...but it turns out that there were a few survivors from the eruption, including miraculously, all four dinosaurs in the previous battle!!!!!!!Yet they had all been separated...but Placodus finds a new challenger in the form of the surprise returning Tylosaurus!!!!!!!!
