Anybody else collect these guys? I have a smattering from when I was little, and am trying to get a few more of the better sculpts. My question relates to a pair of what I believe to be Oryx figures from the line. Are they really oryx, antelope, gazelle? Anyone have these and can give me a better definition so I know what to Google and find my own? There's an adult and calf, very cute and excellent sculpts in my opinion. Any help would be great, thanks guys!

I couldn't find out anything since they're retired. I've only got the 2009 catalog.

Yup they were retired some time ago. Several online stores still carry the more popular members of the line (aka, the predators!) but I have yet to find the oryx pair.
You should take a glance at them Sid, they are larger and their sculpts are very detailed. Thanks to the painting, some have facial expressions that look a little goofy in certain figures. The leaping male tiger and giraffe family set are some of my favorite toys of those animals I've seen from any line.

Yes, they are Oryx or gemsbook. The figure is big! I collect various antelope figures, but it is one I don't have, unfortunately It is a beautiful figure. I have not seen it up for auction on ebay at all. One of this days I will post a picture of my herd of antelopes ;D

Link and Pin still has some. Mostly tigers, lions, and bears, oh my. But some apes, ellies, and girraffes too. They are on the dino toy page, almost at the very, very bottom of the page.
