I'd probably clone the largest, most terrifying Tyrannosaurus rex, while working with the finest scientists, who would make sure it and any subsequent dinosaurs which would be cloned to be attractions at a special zoo,or park, would all be female to prevent any unauthorized breeding! Any missing DNA sequences would be filled in with frog DNA! What could possibly go wrong? I would have it (and eventually the rest) contained in the finest electric fencing available! It would even be powered by the finest computer systems! What a fool proof plan that would be!

Microraptor. People would see it, and look at me, and go "WTF?"

Stegosaurus. But, I doubt this would be a good idea. Dinos and humans just will not exist together well. Nooo good will come of it, mark my words....

I second the Allosaurus...smaller, easier to keep than Rex, but still says DINOSAUR and you know people will want to see herbivores like Brachiosaurus and those mountains of flesh have their place....but they will demand to see the predators...people want to be scared and Allo will pull it off quite well I think.

Allosaurus was relatively smaller, other than that it wasn't small

Allosaurus was relatively smaller, other than that it wasn't small Seriously! I used to think of allosaurus as "small" and then one day I was confronted by a skeleton of one at the AMNH ;D Most dinosaurs appear larger in real life than in books/drawings I'd choose microraptor. I'd imagine it would thrive on a diet of fatty grubs and insects, and it would be able to fly around my house with it's four wings

Here's my allosaurus femur cast. Definately not small.

looks like it's about 7 inches shy of an adult allosaur.

Ah, the lovely and oh so unusual sauropod Agustinia or Amarga ;D Of course ;D You would probably breed them in your back yard and let them go in a field near your house ;D

Ah, the lovely and oh so unusual sauropod Agustinia or Amarga ;D Of course ;D You would probably breed them in your back yard and let them go in a field near your house ;D Dear, I live in the 5th floor of an apartment building in the heart of the city! Where would I keep such big critters? If I lived where you live, maybe ;D But I can dream of wide open field full of wonderful sauropods, yes ;D

You would specially breed them to be 6 inches long, to be a perfect apartment pet ;D

I can't imagine the first members of any extinct race living too long in our modern enviroment regardless of which species. Aside from that I used to fantasize about dinos running free in the forests around here...
