I have a question about a line of figures that i beleive sold on "The dinosaur farm" site a few years ago. I didn't pay them too much attention at the time. There were jsut two or three, i think, and they somewhat resmebled James Gurney's "dinotopia" paintings. They had bridles and saddles and gondolas, I beleive. There was a sauropod with a red saddle. But these were NOT actually based on Dinotopia. Does anyone know what these figures were, and where to find them? I've never heard of them since.

Yes I remember that figure! I think there were 2 or 3 other dinosaurs, maybe a Parasaurolophus. Anyway I thick they may have been made by Schleich. It sort of reminds me of their Smuf stuff.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with those. I have some authentic Dinotopia merchandise, like plushes and mugs, but I haven't seen any imitators.

I remember them as well... might have Schleich or Bully... but I don't remember what they were called to search for em'... there was a sauropod, Rex w/ armor I think , Trike, and hadrosaur..not sure why I didn't get them..maybe price or look... I remember when Paramount was going to do a Dinotopia film it was said they were going to make figures for it..but I never actually saw pics. I would have loved an armored sauropod convoy with Rexes and some Skybax riders. You can make a Bix figure out of a Tyco Protocertops if you have one...just repaint it to match..looks pretty good actually. Maybe email the Dinosaur Farm and ask them ?
