This is a quick post to pass on some good news, that is, Safari Ltd recently authorized a large shipment of samples to be reviewed on the Dinosaur Toy Blog. Randy Knoll, if you are reading this, thanks for your help - and also your encouragement.
This deal provides fuel and content for the Blog, so expect a Carnegie Collection bonanza very soon! And a note to regular bloggers - I may be in touch soon.

Does that mean you'll be mailing them out to people? Sweet. Obviously I don't need any myself, since I'm already swimming in them. And yes, it does hurt whenever I sit down.

Why do you doubt it?  The blog wouldn't be what it is without all the bloggers. I'm in the process of photographing every figure before I decide what happens to everything - It's very unlikely that I will be reviewing them all myself though, and in any case, my other half isn't too happy that our flat looks like a toyshop As I said, I'll probably be in touch with reviewers soon, my priority at the moment is reviewing all the new releases. The Wild Safari line also arrived for review last week. |

Because I just do not believe Safari will ship tons of figures to us. Maybe you, but not tons of members. Unless of course you are a review author.

I think it has been established that they are sending them to the Admin, who will then parse them out to reviewers. Obviously they are not going to mail out samples to every member, or even to every reviewing member. And hey, if he gets a goos surplus, he may be able to use some of the extras as diorama prizes in future as well! |
