Nooooooooooooo!  I only missed episode 6 of series 2 of Primeval.  I watch the show on Scifi channel. Anyone know where I can here in the USA what episodes of season 2 for free? I'll be buying the show on dvd anyway.  |

It was the best prehistoric-themed sci fi show of all time. I agree killing off the main characters was dumb, but so was making 6, 7 and 10 episodes per season!!! Here in the US 23 would have consituted one season, not 3!!!!
There were so many possible plot lines that were begun, now never to be finished. Having said that, if there is a film, hopefully some of the characters can be brought back via the time travel angle.

On another note, this series spawned the absolute BEST toy line .for any show/film of its type - ever. Now that too is DOA. And just as the show has begun over here in the US. Stupid ITV.

It just really annoyed me that the last episode of season 3 was such a cliff hanger and knowing it may never be resolved.

They could've at least made the last episode a double episode so the plotline was resolved. Also the dinosaurs(and everything else) were badly animated.

I'm sorry to disappoint but other than the Hesperornis, I can't see why everybody is saying that this line is great I have to agree--although the Anurognathous and Dodo are decent as well I haven't personally been wowed by the Primeval line. I remember really wanting their Smilodon--until I saw pictures of the figure up close. At which point, no thanks. Maybe I would feel different if they had made a gorgonopsid or one of the other interesting critters. And made it well, of course. |
