;D ;D Got your attention, eh? Because, ever since I found this site a month ago, you have been like a bartender tempting an alcoholic til he finally succumbs and downs bottle after bottle of Scotch!  Just when I thought I had my collecting to a manageable point, y'all FORCE ME  to get back into it. I must have dropped $400 in the past week re-consituting my dinosaur and prehistoric mammal collections. (Did I mention I HATE you all yet? ) OK - so I found a few extra gems that I will be offering and I WILL sell off my Japanese mini-dinos soon - watch for the announcement in Classifieds. You, you, you .... (Bugs Bunny voice: "STINKERS")!!! Watch for the announcements in Classifieds of the few extra gems I will be making available upon receipt. I already mentioned one on there. P.S. I don't really hate you. I fell off the wagon all by my lonesome. ;D And I have enjoyed every minute of this board - just look at my posts per day. |

I'm with ya, stopped collecting till about a year ago on a whim i decided to see if my Battat Diplo was still around. Blew my mind at it's ebay prices, found this forum, and am back at it stronger than ever. So i hate everybody too. In a love sort of way.

Yea well, a year ago all I had were the Tamiya kits. Then, it was a few odd figures that could be in scale, then Papos, which led to looking for new Papos, which led to the Toy Blog and its review of the allo, then here. Once here, I was in fact doomed. Despite my best efforts to control myself and limit the collection, well....Y'all seen the pics. Acquired and painted in less than a year....
And now, I seem to have been bitten by that dang Kaiyodo bug....

Although, I really have no interest in repainting them. Part of their charm are the detailed--if sometimes outrageous--paint schemes. The main bodies would be easy enough, but the little eyes and mouths are beyond me, I think. I did, however repaint the anchiceratops skull ( posted in the customs threas ). I painted it black, then brushed in various tans and siennas to try to replicate a fossil look. |

Yes I hate everyone too, i have been poor since i found this site, I wake up in the night thinking about dinosaur figures and craving retired figures. I know at some stage soon i must have the Battat Diplo and im scared of what im going to pay for it.

I hate yall so much too. But I love you all at the same time. A year ago I didn't care about plant eaters and non dinosaurs. And now they have overgrown and are breeding rapidly throughout my bank account....

I also hate every one of you.
Not only have I been forced to expand my collection with such monstrosities as the Battat Diplodocus, you have also motivated me to open a store devoted to these things. Now I am surrounded by dinosaur toys, most of which I can see but never touch (through their plastic), and a part of me dies every time I have to ship it off to some faraway land. I cannot even afford to purchase most of these from my own store. They just sit there, looking at me, waiting for their cardboard vessels to take them far away from me.
And I can assure you, there is no undercurrent of love in what I feel for you. Every time you buy something from me, every time I accept some scraps of currency for an awesome dinosaur, my very soul is diminished. Make no mistake about my feelings. I hate you. All of you.
