Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

What do you all think of Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs?

I personally thought it was one of the best movies I've seen. The T-Rex (Momma Dino) and Baryonyx (Rudy) were extremely "cool" in their design and appearance! ;D

I'm still unsure if Rudy was a Baryonyx, but it was the most similar looking animal. For some reason Rudy was said to be larger than the Rex (The Momma Rex as she is called, looked nervously around when she heard Rudy roar in the distance ) Odd, an adult Tyrannosaurus would surely not be afraid of an animal of the same length, but much lower weight and weaker jaws. *taunt* *taunt* ;D

On a more serious note, the movie is filled with inaccuracies of course (Besides the obvious time difference), such as Pterosaur teeth, sharp-toothed Ankylosaurs, and aggressive Hadrosaurs.

Besides all of this, Buck (The Weasel) is quite funny. ;D A quote:

Watch the movie, and you'll see what I mean.

They were growling, baring their teeth, and surrounding them as if they were predatory.

It wasn't a simple honk and tail swing. These things thought they were Tyrannosaurs. ;D

Twex is so freaking overrated. I would have preffered seeing an allosaur.

The baryonyx was really odd too. Hmmmmmm.....

I really enjoyed it! Did you see the stegos with the long skinny necks and the weird looking plates and those huge round eyes. That was the weirdest off them all! IMO

I turned to my brother and said "What is that?" when I saw them. ;D

I'm not a big fan of CG cartoons,granted,but the "Ice Age" series is something i can enjoy without cringing for the use of CG instead of the good ol' animation...Oh,and i can't wait to see this third episode


Judging by the trailers i've seen so far,it homages an helluva lot of dinosaur and monster movies (JP,Godzilla,even Disney's "Fantasia") ;D
